Can't really say, I've had them for such a short time.

I dropped my silver (regular, non-etched) one on the driveway from my lap getting out of the truck, probably about a 4ft drop, and it did this:

But it still works, which is the main thing. Don't know how the clear coats will hold up, so soon after getting them.

Thanks Andria, I'll just have to be careful.

:pervy:

It really does sound like the Achilles is the right answer, though -- a tootle puffer's dream come true! :D Holds 2.5ml; big build area, very very similar to a Kayfun; VERY tight draw; NEVER EVER leaks.

Don't listen about the Caterpillar -- if you're a tootle puffer, you'll hate it, I guarantee it. I could get more use out of that thing as a tea strainer than for vaping!

Andria
If you want a tight cig like draw the Achilles is the one for you. If you want a looser draw it is not for you.

Until you find an RDA you like (or maybe even after), you might consider direct dripping to test your juice. All you need is a 510 or 306 atty. My blog explains it: Drip, drip, drip: The Sound of Dripping
Thanks for the suggestion, Ocelot! I have a bunch of unused 808 bottom coil cartos - got them on sale from Bloog over a year ago. (Never used Bloog, but thought their cartos might solve my problem with the multiple 510 carto failures.) I know there is a 510 to 808 adapter somewhere in the deep recesses of a boxes of vape stuff. The polyfill taste in them was horrible. Maybe I'll pull out the polyfill and put a flat circle of blue aquarium foam in the bottom. I got some blue foam as a freebie from a vendor once. It's around here somewhere. The last thing I need in my kitchen is more vape paraphernalia. I think I have some just plain 510 attys too. But wait...If I go that route, that means I will need to clean and blow out those little attys, then wait for them to dry! I hated cleaning attys - plus they never tasted good as new after cleaning. I might try it anyway, but building and wicking coils on an RDA makes more sense somehow (at least in my mind at the moment, but then again, that is always changing).

I is SAD :(
Coming up on "2 Years", September 18th, of NO CIGS (this time around), but I don't know what to buy myself, as I am happy with what I have, and have plenty of what I need. Don't need the newest and greatest gadget, what I have works fine (and I have lots of backups), I don't need any juice, I've got enough to last for years, I have tons of batteries, I'm just at a loss here. What do I reward myself with, if I have everything I Want or Need. :)

Give yourself some time. You'll think of something in about a week or so, especially if you keep on reading the board.

Congratulations, Burnie.

What kind of mods/stuff do you like? If it was me, I'd probably be looking towards a Billet Box (or anything "special" like that). But only YOU count here, so I'd recommend something you've been eyeing. Anything???
