Ditto JoAnn!!! Total Vaper! I've, we if you include my fiance, been tobacco free since day one March 8th, 2013. Three and a half years Sept. 8th.

Total vaper - for a whole 3 weeks. Duel use for a week before that. I hate the smell of cigarettes, there is no way I'm going back. As soon as I had a set up that worked well I was hooked. Husband is still duel using but we're working on it.

This by definition is a collection of folks who are enthusiasts about vaping. It is more likely than not that folks who are enthusiasts are folks who vape daily. Daily vapers, especially those willing to put time into participating in a forum are more likely than not to end up vapers only. I'm sure there are many total vapers who are not here as well, and my statement was directed for this forum sub-population, not the larger population of all current dual or total vapers in any geographic location.
Total vaper from day 1.
I woke up and had a vape (4-6 draws). I got an urge about hourly. At lunch I had the confidence that I could do it. Nothing else mattered, did I get my fix. I did.
Slowly, I just lowered the nic content.

Total Vaper - since Dec. 2013. (Dual used for about 4-6 weeks before switching).
The only other people I knew who still smoked when I did are also now total vapers and have been for 3-4 years.

I'd wager that most of us came here with noob questions as opposed to as weathered enthusiasts.
Sure we've garnered a higher level of success as a group that relies on each other.
But I'm sure close to half of us started out as dual users.
I did.
And had no interest in quitting smoking when i started.
Didn't think it was likely.
But once i thought it might be possible, i gave it a shot.
Decided wheneverI couldn't subdue a craving with a vape, I'd have a smoke.
Exactly 2 weeks and 12 cigarettes later I'd kicked a 24 year, 4PAD habit.
When i came here I had less knowledge on vaping than one could garner from a couple cig-a-like commercials.
I'd wager that majority of our membership base is still there and has less than 10 posts.
Also... true "enthusiasts" as measured quantitatively by sheer numbers of devices or money invested are even a minority here. Maybe not so pronounced with knowledge of regulations, but still.
You'd be surprised of some of the enthusiasts you can encounter IRL across the country.
In just the last 2 days, i met 2 in Tuscaloosa, AL and 1 in Waxahachie, TX.
