I cannot remember for the life of me if I read this before or not, but does the ego stardust clearos fit on the X2s? I am in need of a yellow one with a yellow tip. I tried to order one during the sale, but they are gone. Being a Michigan fan I want to put it on the dark blue X2 I just ordered, for game day vaping at my brother's house.

I've always read that you can use eGo threading on the X2's, but it doesn't work for me. I just now tried 2 different types of eGo Stardust clearos on 2 different X2's with no joy.

Thanks, Ladies. Not the worst that could happen, but it was my purple one. :(

I have had pretty good luck with the CE3, but I can see why the clearos are being discontinued. I have gotten some good vapes from some of them.
I know you said it works now. One thing you can try is cleaning it with a q tip and some alcohol battery upside down. You may have but didnt see. Glad it lives.

No..not really. There is no threading on the "skirt" part that covers the outer threading on the X2. It would fit in theory...but of course the battery posts don't match up. KR808 batteries are "male". The eGo type are "female". If Smokeless Image were to make a Mega carto...it'd have to be customized for the KR808D-1 threading. Yes...the X2 outer threading works with eGo cones and such. But that has nothing to do with the battery posts and the connections for the actual power of the device.

Some types of eGo clearos will work, but only if they have eGo threading ONLY. If they are 510/eGo threaded they have both the eGo threading for the skirt and a 510 connector that also screws on to the 510 connection; much like the SI clearos are both 808 and eGo threaded. But there are some that have eGo threading only. Mr Outlaw demonstrates this in this video.

Thank you so much Ace. That's the ticket. I was almost positive I had seen or heard it somewhere before. Should've known it was Mr. O. Thanks again, and "Damn, do I love this forum!"

1st, I hope no one finds the above language offensive, I was just excited about all of you guys. If so I will fix it.
2nd, Imagine, what is the difference with Smokeless Image and Alt Smoke in New Philly? I was guessing AS is a carrier for multiple brands. I was just curious as to what all SI has there. I may have to make a day out of it, drive over and check it out, it's about about 2.5 hrs away.

Sitting down, facing forward.
As with any device who didn't passed extensive tests (TUV, CE, DES etc) When i leave the house i unplug all chargers or strange devices. Household appliances are ok.
My lab has many things plugged and i have a master switch on the lens-lamp i have, when i switch off the lamp the whole lab switches off.

Remember, the CE sign on e-cigs is NOT the Conformité Européenne sign used in Europe (would seem to be even useless in US) but it's the China Export sign, which means none of these devices are certified for anything. That goes for all e-cigs.
Even the RoHS sign seems to be false since i can see shiny solder connections (non lead connections do not shine).

Going back to the charging overnight question for a moment...I have a ticket open with CS and asked about this. The response said that the trickle charge could damage the battery if left on the charger to long, such as over night. Since I'm a pain in the ... and want to know, I am doing some more research on LiPO batteries and their charge characteristics and I hacked up a USB extension cable so I can monitor current and voltage conveniently as a 78mm charges. I just plugged one in to an SI 1.5amp wall charger and it is drawing ~100ma at 5.30 volts. I'll wait for it to reach full charge and see what the trickle current is. The particular battery is one that I suspect is not operating properly, failing to fully charge or maybe worn out, so the data I collect here might be a little misleading. The story continues.....
