So is SI located on east coast? On ECF homepage under Forum suppliers section it says Smokeless Image is in "US, Midwest" I placed an order for a single manual battery on 10/29 super early in the morning and it still says processing. Hasn't even shipped yet, is it cuz of sandy? I assumed SI was unaffected because according to this forum you guys are located in the midwest.

If the storm is to blame, when can we expect orders to start shipping? and if not, why is it taking so long to ship?

SI is in Ohio; however, they have recently opened a brick and mortar store in NJ, I think (there's another thread about that). Your order may have already shipped--if you go to the website, and find the "contact CS" button, you can send an email inquiring about your order number. Good luck to you!

thanks for the info.

@trichman, if tracking hasn't updated, how do you know its scheduled for delivery tomorrow? I never even got a shipping email with a tracking number yet. When I log into my account, and loook at the order, it still says "processing"

EDIT: Nevermind. Just got the shipping email/tracking number... literally minutes ago (probably while typing this response). It says scheduled for delivery Nov 3rd. Anyways, sort of threw me off cuz after several orders It has never taken this long to ship. Usually I have it within 3-4 days, this time it took that long just to ship.

There may be a couple things happening that are holding up your orders.

First, we were having shipping issues with our software not sending tracking numbers whenever an order is sent out. There is a notice for this on our main homepage. If you shoot us an email at ticket@smokelessimage.com - we can manually look up your tracking number and send it off for you.

Another reason is that we are about a day behind on orders. I have just checked and they are about halfway through the orders from the 30th as of this moment. So we should be getting close to caught up- since we are fully staffed back there today (had someone out for the past couple days).

If your order has shipped and you are on the East coast, you could be experiencing some delays in delivery. We did call the postal service on Tuesday to inquire about a couple orders, and they did tell us some orders were held up because the airlines were closed down due to the storm.

Hopefully you all find this helpful! :D

Have a somewhat weird but necessary question:

My roommate's daughter bought her a v2 kit with one of those deals back in August...anyway, she left her charger someplace where she can't get to it. It's my understanding that she can't use my charger...are v2s still gen1, and SIs are gen2?

Don't mean to be rude here, but I'd hate to see her not be able to vape...but I don't want to blow up her batts, either.

Yes I believe V2 are still Gen 1 ...you can use the VOLT charger with them.... but the indicator lights may not function 100% properly.

isn't it the other way around? It's Ok to use gen1 (V2 in this case) charger to charge gen2 (Volt) batteries but using gen2 charger on gen1 batteries will destroy the later.

Destroy is a strong word... using a gen 1 charger on a VOLT would void the warranty and is not recommended it would also not always charge the VOLT to 100% or have slower charging and indicator lights may not work at 100%. Long term you should always use the charger made for the battery....but a VOLT charger should charge a gen 1 batt without much issue for a while.

Always be careful when not using chargers that are meant for the things they are supposed to be for such as fires and etc.

Imagine, this topic has actually been beaten to death on ECF. Here's just one illustrative example of such thread:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-battery-chargers-will-i-void-warranties.html

It describes actual test when V4l gen1 battery was charged with Volt gen2 charger. And that battery came off charger significantly overcharged!

Should I remind anyone that overcharging LiIon batteries is: a) not safe; b) significantly shortens battery's life?

Yes fair enough ...I will amend my statement to simply say ...can you do it? yes ...should you do it? no. and I will repeat for safety reasons you should always use the charger provided with a battery for any electronics.

Imagine, you may have missed my question in another thread, so I'll try again here. Will the forthcoming T3 shipment include tanks AND replacement heads or tanks only? All colors or only clear? If not in the initial shipment, has SI decided to offer replacement heads? If so, when do you anticipate availability? Has pricing been nailed down? TIA

hi .. the shipment will contain 7 color options... I am not firm on the pricing..but i am sure it will be competitive like the rest of our pricing :) the replacement head will most likely be forthcoming but not in the first shipment...the hesitation lays on 2 factors...1 how well they will be received and 2- the reception of the complication of the product's nature.
