I have to ask if I'm the only one having problems with the last batch of clearos? One failed two weeks ago when the inner seal came out, and it can't be put back in place by any means I can think of. A second just failed, stopped producing vapor on about the fourth top off. This one I manage to get fixed by trimming the silicon boot on top of the air tube by just a hair, maybe a thirty-second of an inch, to stop it from pinching the wicks so tightly. Any other complaints about this batch?

That inner seal thing happened to me, too, awsum...everyone acted all innocent and what? about it when I asked about it : ) I didn't buy anymore after that.

we haven't seen any increase of RMA's with the clearos from this batch....

yeah not sure what happened maybe just bad luck.... did you contact CS?

Yes, I did about two weeks ago and I think the ticket is still open although I haven't checked recently. Last word was they are checking with the manufacturer. The problem I encountered is the inner seal, where the threaded metal cap meets the plastic of the tank, was a flat silicon washer and not the "O" ring that has been used previously. Given the amount of flexing that goes on with the flat washer as the mouthpiece is removed and replaced versus the "O" ring it seems inevitable that it will "worm" out and there is no way to put it back in. The "O" ring, because it is round in both dimensions, just doesn't flex much, if at all, and can be put back into position is it comes out.

This s my first try with the clearos... Ordered 2 a couple weeks back, 1 no problems so far? (Never used them before so don't know if its normal, but they don't seem to wick, once they get down to 0.8ml I get no production unless I tip them so the juice gets right up to the top of the wicks, but I do use 100% VG) No biggie there... But the other one, the cap melted using VapeDudes MtnDude juice... I thought that prob had long been corrected...

It is normal to "tip' a clearo to wet the wicks. I had two recently give me a lot of dry hits. Looking at them carfully I noticed the boot on top of the air tube was pressing down quite hard on the wicks, effectively pinching them off. I pulled the boots and used a single edge razor blade to very carefully remove a tiny bit of the bottom of the boot where it contacts the wicks. Go too far and it will leak so if you try this be very careful. Both are back to normal operation once again.

Melting caps can be a problem with any plastic device. I haven't had any problems so far, but I use tobacco flavors exclusively, although they do have some caramel, chocolate and/or coffee in them as well. Any liquids that have fruit flavors, I suspect citric acid is the real culprit, could melt many plastics over time.

Imagine, please forgive me if I appear to be nagging, but may we have an update on the ETA of the standard black blank cartomizers? (Glad I was able to type that, and didn't have to say it!) I'm trying to get a couple of new vapers started, and I always set them up with a couple of batts, a charger, and 5 cartos filled with various VR juices. I'm down to my last pack of blanks, and this is a first for me, in 18 months. It almost made me be stingy, but I luckily have some CE3's to fall back on. Please say they'll be in by the 15th, as previously estimated? I need to calm my nerves.

they were supposed to ship the 10th with the rest of the cartomizer order...but I was updated last night that they might be delayed to ship until the 20th. Our goal is to have everything is stock before a black friday sale.

Sigh...I can hold out, if it's that soon, I think.

I have had the oring seal fall down inside the clearo. I've also had three that failed, not producing any vapor. Noticed the threading seems to be a bit off and I really hove to try several times to attach the clearo to the X2.

I noticed the same thing with my last batch. The threading is off and I press really tight to get it to screw together. I can no longer get the one to screw.

G'Day Imagine,

I am sure I read on one of your posts that SI was getting in some new ejuices - not that I have tried all yet and still Classic Grape remains my favourite - however can't seem to find it and checking the site no mention so far. Are you going to stock another range? Love my Volt and the service is just great from Heather and all at SI. I am spreading the word 'downunder'!! :) Cheers

This thread is here so you can ask IMAGINE anything - She is the head Smokeless Image Forum representative, and is happy to help with any tech questions, CS issues, etc.

:p

I am pretty sure it will be a store wide sale over 20% off
Mayhaps you aren't allowed to say, but any hints on starter kit sales for black Friday? I have two colleagues saying "maybe next pay day," they'll try out e-cigs and I wouldn't mind giving them an incentive. I've already convinced a third, who ordered last week. No pressure...
