He does rock, doesn't he? :)
I don't have one, and am too broke to get one, but I would imagine that it would come in handy to be able to be tethered when you don't wanna wait around for a charge. The consistency would probably be better too (no drop-offs, longer if existent cut-offs - it would be like a freshly charged batt all day long). If nothing else, think of the extra battery life when you're not tethered! ;)

you should be fine with 1.5a wall adapter to charge it...and use it actually... O would not suggest hooking it up to your computer though.

Hey Lady! This is probably mentioned/answered elsewhere, but I'm too dim to find it. :( I bought Rob the 900 mah Volt X2, but he hasn't used it as a passthrough yet. Can you tell me what rating the USB port has to have to use it as a passthrough safely? I know the regular Volt passthrough needs 1.5. Is it the same? Michael got the 650 mah, so if the answer is different for that one, let me know and i'll pass it on.

well we are pricing out wraps for them .... would probably be may or june before we decide if we will carry an array of colors
Are the sales of the X2 looking good enough that SI is considering getting them in colors? Is it too early to tell? Will you know after the sale?
Me? Nooooo, I'm not impatient....

Hey - I'm not sure that's true. The wall unit that came with your starter pack - I BELIEVE - is the original one, which is NOT rated at 1.5 amp. The NEWER wall wort, rated at 1.5 is OK for the passthroughs (all of them) right?
The possibility of Sir K. being wrong, fills me with dread.

I have not seen this wall wort you speak of on SI's website (admittedly, I haven't been looking for chargers), is it an SI product?

Whatever you do just check your chargers or power supplies. I am not using wall adapters from SI because i am located in EU and we use THE NORMAL plugs here :D
If it says 1.5A or 1500mA then it's fine. I never seen a power supply not having a label or something.

Even a 1000mA power adapter could work cause they can deliver higher peak amperages for a second or two but they will fail eventually.

Imagine beat me to the punch, who ever heard of a forum moderator that actually paid attention to their forum.

You Miss Imagine are a rare bird. :toast:

And so good at it that she manages to follow ALL of the SI threads! Maybe she has multiple personalities like ThreadKiller ... or has cloned herself.

correct... the 500 mah will charge your X2 though :)

I am a little confused - Not Unusual - especially in these situations when there is just too much information to figure out . . .

So HELP - Since I have the same wall wart - Am I correct to assume at all that I can or cannot use this with any of the Volt batteries (which I have been with the 78 Auto's) - including the New Volt X2 without damaging them . . .

Please - just a YES - or NO . . . :)

My original reason for coming to post . . . "Imagine" finally got my cart filled and set to purchase, however It now says there are no more Stainless Steel Blank Cartomizers . . . Can I still pruchase them during the sale, although I know I will have to wait for them to be shipped . . . Or are they available prefilled . . .
