this is what a tank looks like people mainly use them in mods...you woud have to punch to wholes in the carto...you may just be better off with the t-3.

What I was trying to ask, (lol, sorry for not being clear) is "which brand or model of tanks will work with the SI cartos?" I have tried the T3, but I have beautiful glass drip tips and want to be able to use them with my X2s and a tank. With the clearos I have been able to use an adapter sometimes, not an option on the T3s. Thanks for your help, I know I ask off-the-wall questions.

Sitting down, facing forward.
What's the difference between cartomizers(regular and xl), ce3's and the t2's or t3's?? My bad if I sound dum dum..

Asking a reasonable question is not bad, it's how we all learn. Above all, don't hesitate to ask!

OK, this may run a little long but here it goes -

Cartomizer - Has a filler material, generally polyester fiber, that holds the liquid. Easy to use, rarely leaks at all unless over filled. Can be refilled many times and can also be cleaned by boiling, spinning out excess water and allowing to dry for a few days. Changing flavors can be a problem since the filler can hold traces of the previous flavor even if cleaned. A regular carto holds about 1ml of liquid while and XL carto holds about 1.5ml of liquid. They last quite a while, even under heavy use. Sweet and thick liquids do tend to clog them, but that is true of sweet or thick liquids in any of the delivery systems. As a side note, SI cartomizers are generally regarded as among the best in the industry.

CE3 - Actually more like a cartomizer without the filler. Has a bottom coil, the end where it screws onto the battery, with small wicks that project out of the coil housing, very similar to a cartomizer. There is a clear or colored plastic tank that covers the atomizer housing and holds the liquid, about 1ml. The flavor and vapor are generally regarded as better, more clarity to the flavor and greater amount of vapor, than a cartomizer. They do need to be filled using a blunt tipped syringe but they come with the syringe. Some people don't like the idea of a syringe, maybe drug use related, but once you become familiar with how to do things, it's much easier to do in my opinion than filling a cartomizer. They can be cleaned by pumping hot water through them with the syringe used for filling them. They can also be taken apart for a thorough cleaning but it is time consuming. They can last a very long time, I am still using two of the ten that I bought when they first came out in August(at least I think it was August). Some people have had problems with leaking CE3s, but overall they seem pretty reliable. I use them on 78mm batteries whenever my hands are too busy to use anything bigger, very convenient way to vape with great flavor and vapor production. Another advantage is that you can see exactly how much liquid is left in them unlike guessing with a cartomizer.

T3 - Think of a CE3 on steroids, LOL. Same basic design but with a 3ml capacity. It is filled by turning it upside down, while off the battery of course, unscrewing the base, and simply pouring in your favorite liquid. It has a similar bottom coil wick system as the CE3, but is easily cleaned since when the base comes off you are holding the coil and wick assembly in your hand. Simply run it under hot water and it cleans up quite nicely. Advantages are the 3ml capacity and that the whole coil assembly can be replaced inexpensively. Disadvantage is that the 3ml capacity makes it kind of big. People have also complained that the mouthpiece is too big. Several people have also complained about leaks. Replacing the coil assembly seems to have cured the problem though. This is the "latest and greatest" delivery system and I've been using it for about a month and really like it on my larger battery systems, like the X2. One other disadvantage is that without a specific adapter they will only work on SI X2 or Ego style batteries and won't work on the 78mm batteries (almost forgot to mention that).

T2 - Kind of a mid range between the CE3 and T3. Generally holds about 1.6ml of liquid. Unlike the CE3 and T3, the coil is at the top rather than the bottom. This results in a warmer vape which many people enjoy. It is filled by unscrewing the mouthpiece tip and simply pouring in the liquid, like a T3. They do produce good flavor and good vapor. They are also know to leak. They generally last over a month, assuming moderate use. They can be cleaned by flushing with hot water and allowing them to dry for a few days. I used them quite a bit until the T3 came out and still like them occasionally.

Hope I didn't bore you. There are a ton of videos on YouTube showing how to use and clean all of them. Check for ones by MrOutlaw as his seem tobe quite good, at least to me.

Wow Thank you so much! I'm actually going to copy this to my phone since I don't have a computer. Now im thinking of buying the ce3's instead of the blank cartos on my next purchase since I ordered both batts 78mm manual. Don't know why but the autos sounded to much like analogs to me so I wasn't that interested. Once again thanx so much cause I'm seriously going insane trying to keep Up with all the info posted in the forums.. just so many threads its overwhelming!
On a side note.. I saw that my kit is over at the Catano city usps!!! I should get it tomorrow Yaaaaaaaaay!!! Can't wait.. and thanx for not making me feel like a dummy :)

haha not necessarily...after trying clearos, T3s, and CE3s, I keep going back to cartos because they just hit so much better and more dependably. It would just be nice if they stayed wet longer. Shopping around for tanks now, but it would be oh so nice if SI carried them. And it would be even nicer if the holes were already on the XL cartos.

What I've found so far (on the affordable end) is to buy a 510 DCT tank and toss the 510 DCT carto, or from Health Cabin in China and pay $16 shipping. Glass ones are nice, but way out of my budget. And I don't like black endcaps.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. I may be in the process of losing my first battery to juice leakage (that nano love affair could have hit a rock here) I'm watching as my poor purple 78mm is changing back and forth from staying on and flickering..
I blew/sucked a lot of the juice that leaked down in it out (no nic juice thankfully) but I don't have much hope for my poor lil battery

is there any resurection process here... aww.. flickering again

Yes! Love the needle nose spouts! Work well with the mini vivi nova tanks! (X2 w/ an adapter. House use mainly)

this will be NicQuids new packaging going forward...we may have some inventory of the old kind left but as we run out it will all be replaced by this...if you got it for a certain flavor/strength that would mean the new packing will be for the going forward.

sunshine today it is.. used up my rice last night.. oops
I may dig around in some med bottles and see if I have any of those little packets of moisture absorbing pellets too. I'm most worried about the sticky factor.. it was chocolate ejuice (clear though) but with extra sweet.

You've probably already done this, Opal, but make sure you clean your charger, too. Juice gets into the little cracks and crevices. I use a Q-Tip and some rubbing alcohol.

The batteries are lithium based and do need a minimal charge on them to remain viable. I would suggest leaving them in the cases and charging the cases every few months, like three or four, just to be sure they never go below the voltage level needed for them to be recharged. They won't take long to charge, will always be in "ready to use" condition and you won't have to worry about "losing" a battery due to it becoming too discharged.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it. Your results and mileage may vary. No warranty or guarantee is expressed or implied.
