Imagine,
I noticed that the shipping notification email no longer allows you to click of the tracking number to check the status. Now you have to copy and paste into the USPS website. Are there plans on going back to the old way where you could simply click on the tracking number and it would automatically bring up the USPS tracking page

AWESUM: Are you tweaking your Clearo's so they don't leak? I keep mine upright - yet every 2nd or 3rd vape I'm unscrewing and wiping off the battery top. It doesn't happen as much if I have a little extra piece from the rubber cap slipped in between the inside piece and the bottom of the screw on top. Seems like it has to go on PERFECTLY straight ... and I noticed better luck if I keep the juice below the 1.4 mark.

I use my clearo right out of the wrapper with no tweaks or modifications. What you may be experiencing is the "condensation" effect. MrOutlaw has mentioned this and I also do get some liquid on the battery post. Given that it is a drop at a time and happens after I have vaped for a while, I am pretty sure it's a result of vapor remaining inside the air tube and condensing as described by MrOutlaw. I see the same thing with a CE3 iF I vape with it hanging out of my mouth. If you do that and watch yourself in a mirror you'll see vapor coming out of the air holes at the battery end of either a clearo on an X2 or a CE3 on a 78/65mm. That can easily condense over time and produce what appears to be a leak.

well it will not be any sooner then October... but we will be carrying a brand new line of american made liquids.

That is about all I can say :p

I'm approaching crisis mode with liquids, running low on SI RY4, and it made me think of this. How about the new line has a label with a window so we can see how empty/full the bottle is. I'm just guessing from tilting the bottle sideways right now and a window would make it easy to anticipate, short of using a gram scale!

Here's another one for Imagine....Given that the batteries are all lithium Ion and, technically, are not plagued by "memory" like a NiCAD is, is it safe (read as "good practice") to charge them before the charge indicator says they're in need of a charge? As an example, I was just using a 78mm/CE3 and the vapor output dropped quite a bit but the tip light was still lighting up at full brilliance. I suspected a battery on the verge of needing a charge and tried the CE3 on an X2 and got normally high vapor output, so I just put that 78mm in a charger and switched to another even though the battery didn't visibly indicate it needed a charge. I would assume, that word again, that your answer applies to a PCC as well because the battery types are the same.

Let me jump in i am on bed with sunburns and welding burns but i had to answer.

The internal asic on these batteries takes care of this for you.
When the led indicates charging the battery has 3.2V which is the safe cut off voltage for these batteries. Even if you want you cannot discharge it more or when you charge you cannot charge it further.

There is no need to use it like an actual battery since it's a device with a internal microcontroller.

Thanks, Konstantine!

I assumed that the charger would prevent damage, overcharge, but I am not up on all the ins and outs of Litium Ion or nickle-metal-hydride in terms of their charging protocols (and too lazy to look it up for myself as usual LOL). I guess the real question is does it "harm" these batteries in any way to charge them even if they are not fully discharged as determined by the controller? I guess the answer is no based on your reply.

The USB adaptor you have is just that, an adaptor. The circuit in this contains only a voltage comparator to drive the red/blue led to show you the status.
This battery can be charged with 4.5V - 6.0V since the real charger is inside the battery.
The adaptor only provides whatever your USB port has and compares the input vs output, that's it.

It doesn't matter if you charge it half way but you have to realize those types of batteries have a low cycle life (around 300 times)

When I said "charger" I did mean the asic inside the battery case. In terms of cycles, is that full discharge/charge or partial discharge/charge? Either way 300 cycles isn't all that short given that, with more than one or two batteries on hand, they don't get charged more than once a day which yields, basically, a life span of a year.

Dear Imagine,
What is the turn around time now on orders? I ordered yesterday early and it's still processing. I waited to order until SI got their tracking issues solved. This is the first time since I started with them my order hasn't shipped either same day or next. Filled out a contact CS thing with the order number on it but haven't heard back.

I think SI is suffering from a combination of growing pains and a software problem which is a very unfortunate mix of headaches. I placed an order at about 6:30 Monday morning and it was shipped today. I think between the CE3 commotion, everyone talking up SI customer service and products combined with their software problem they are a little overwhelmed at the moment. Patience is a virtue, but needing vaping supplies is a whole other thing!

True, but I am not a virtuous man.

I think they worked out the computer glitch, but didn't she say something about hiring (thus having to train) 3 new people? Bet they'll still come through within the 48-hour window though. Hi, Wuzz! Missed ya!

That'll be tomorrow then. Hi Cindy, why were you aiming at me? :D

That's exactly what I've been wondering! Never thot in terms of once a day equaling nearly a year!

Back to your reply to the leak problem: I'm getting this drop on anywhere from just one inhalation to wiping it after a second or 3rd inhalation. I continue to inhale til the light goes out after releasing my finger from the button. As a rule I don't have it "hanging from my mouth" - occassionally but more apt to be w/ the 78 auto's. Today for example it did this until it was approx. half empty. Then it quit.

Next Question! I ordered those rubber drip tips. How long does it take to NOT have that rubber taste when vaping? :D
I like that rubber tip but noticed after a few vapes (3-4?) I start getting that rubber taste in the vape! Does anyone else get that? Sheesh - If other's don't notice I'm ok with that. My mom threatens to put a clothes pin on my nose so I wouldn't be surprised if you say that about my taste buds - when allergy season runs rampant - any petro based scent 'burns' my sinuses. ENT once told me continuing to smoke tar-bacco is like running a blow torch up mah snoze!
Just curious ... Linda
