Some people still have smokes while they vape. They wean themselves off slowly instead of stopping immediately. Nothing wrong with that. In this case, less (smoking) is better. I think some people use vaping to just cut down on smoking and not quit completely. I don't see anything wrong with that. Better a few cigs a day instead of 1-2 packs.

With vaping, you're trading one habit for another, as you said. As I've mentioned in other threads, you are addicted to the nicotine and with vaping you are just changing delivery systems (and getting rid of those carcinogens we all know and love). I think the trade-off is worth it. Plus I don't have to worry about walking around smelling bad to other people. At least, not due to cig smoke.

I definitely like the idea of not smelling bad. Honestly I can't wait to live in a smokeless environment also... though, we are well on our way to that reality. :)

I'm starting to worry about my Grandma. She chain vapes all day, and I mean chain vape! She doesn't even take the Volt from her mouth. She breathes in through the volt and out through her nose. She's going through 5 cartridges of Cowboy 24mg a day. I've only been back two weeks but I notice she's been shaking the whole time. My Dad and I are thinking about lowering her mg's but we're afraid that'll make her vape even more (if that's even possible).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The only 555 that they have on the website is 0mg 30ml

Do you guys sell the flavour for the 555 I can't get a good 555 from anyone else.

I love that coffee / sweet nutty taste....

Please.

I think Imagine said it should be restocked today, they were just waiting for it to clear customs.

Doesn't sound like she could possibly vape any more than constantly. 24mg is a bit high for chain vaping. And 5 a day is a lot!
Maybe get some 18-12mg liquid and refill her 24 mg cartridge so she thinks they are still 24 :)
Sounds more like just the pacifier habit of wanting to hold it and have it rather than actually needing all that nicotine. Especially if she's getting the shakes.

effects are fine... just no photoshoping in items like logos or removing items from the pictures...

Hi Imagine,
Regarding the new Facebook contest, I know that the rules are no Photoshopping...does that mean AT ALL? I used soft focus and a slight color tint on my photo...will that disqualify it?
I wasn't sure if this rule only applies to photo manipulation or if it also pertains to what I did to the photo, correcting and fine tuning it.

Thanks. :)

This is the second time I've seen this question posed (Grandma chain-vaping), and the first time was several weeks (maybe 2-3 months) ago; and possibly on a different forum. Was that you, as well, Othercat?
@Cindycated, do you remember seeing a post very similar to this?

I second this ...

Some people smoke because of the action of smoking... some to get the nicotine buzz... and of course some people for both.... but when you vape you learn fairly quickly which part of it meant more to you.... in her case it seems like the action and sensation not the nic... as she is probably getting more nic now then when she smoked. Try taking her down to 18 then 12mg... you can always go back up if she returns to tobacco.

Yep, same cat (Othercat), and same grandma. :)
That can't be good for her heart, being all jittery from all that nic. Maybe try what Star and Imagine said and refill her cartos with lower nic liquid? That's probably the only part that's really hazardous for her health, right?

I am honestly not the best person to ask about cleaning.... it also depends on the amount of daily use... it will really vary...also on the juices used etc...
Hi, Imagine - Just wondering... If I "top-off" the cartos each night, without any full-scale cleaning, how long will that carto last, before konking out? When it konks out (i.e., doesn't "die," but stops drawing well), can it then be cleaned "back to nearly new" and keep going until it dies?

Dear Imagine... Do you ever feel like "Dear Abby?" (oi, did I ever date myself, there)

On to the real question, can you tell me what mg the carts are in the very basic $19.95 kit? I'm thinking about picking up a couple to take to work as "loaners for a day" for convincing folks they need to switch, so might have to pick up carts, too, if I do.

Yep. It was probably me and probably the same Grandma. When I asked a few months ago, I was worried but I thought she would slow down after getting used to vaping. But she's just gotten worse. Besides her shaking, I believe she's also getting headaches (tonights purchase of 2 large bottles of Tylenol confirmed it). We've tricked her in the past by getting 18mg and marking it 24mg but she caught on and now she's downright cranky if she notices.
