you should be ok with that... the cartos may not all fit 100% correctly if they are generation one 808d-1 cartos... and your battery will have a little less battery life.

Hi Imagine. Im loving my new batteries!

I was wondering, while the cartos that I purchased at SI are OK, I like a slightly lower ohm. Is it safe to use a 808d-1 carto that has a rating of 2.4-2.6 to 2.1-2.2ohm? I know I cant go too low because of the mah, but is too low for a 78mm battery?

Have been monitoring the progress with quality control and it has been slow to fix the issue...hope to have good news this week.

they have been shipped...they should be a day behind the new t-3's

So, I discern that the T-3's are running later than expected due to QC issues. The X2 clearos were expected to be stocked yesterday, but are now a day behind the T-3's? (Do I have it right?)
My diabolical plan :evil: to save money by shopping during the sales, and keeping myself stocked, seems in danger of defeat.:p
At least it frees up my options; I worked for a superintendent once, who liked to say, "Work where you can, not where you can't." (referring to the different level of "completion" in different areas of a construction site). As I am running dangerously low on supplies, it may have come down to, "shop where you can, not where you can't". He'd be horrified by the analogy, I'm sure.:D

Wondering if anyone else has this problem or can offer me some advice. After using a fresh ce3 once or twice, I have muted flavor, and much less throat hit and vapor. It wasn't happening before but now seems to be happening on every ce3. I tried cleaning them using the water and syringe method but to no avail. Does it have something to do with using dark juices? My juices seemed to have darkened over time. Anyway, pls help! I may post this on a general thread as well because I'm not sure if I'll get my answer here, but its a good start since they're si ce3's. I was also having major burnt tastes on some of them and thought I came up with a solution via plugging the air olds with my finger and blowing in, but I think it somehow threw the ce3's off balance bc those are muted now as well. I threw a bunch out already and it's such a shame. Last thing I want is to get off the vape wagon.

most likely yes. SE3s (actually no equipment) do not like dark or sweet juices. Ind yes, you can kill (not completely, but it'll need some serious cleaning) a perfectly functional CE3 with just one wrong juice fill.

Also you should be aware that many of ECF "hyped" juices are made primarily for dripping and are carto/clearo killers otherwise.

Liquids with relatively high levels of sugars can, and do, "foul" the coil by leaving burned residue on it. I've actually used a dental pick to clean the coils in my CE3s when they get fouled from RY4 and I routinely use a vodka soak and a very small brush to keep them clean.

That's problematic bc I only like sweet juices. It's odd that it only started happening recently tho. I've been using ce3 for a while. How do you get to the coils?

Why this has started happening to you recently is a question I can't answer or even guess at unless something has changed in the manufacturing of the CE3.

To take one apart for cleaning just put the CE3 on an old or non-functioning battery if you have one. Hold the battery firmly in one hand and wiggle and pull the outer barrel off of the CE3. This may take substantial force, but try not to squeeze the barrel too hard or you'll crack it. I sometimes use one of those sticky rubber jar opening pads to give me a non-slip grip on the barrel. Once it's off you can remove the air tube by rocking it back and forth and pulling it off. That will reveal the wick and coil. Alternately, remove the mouthpiece cap. Then use the syringe needle to pull the inner silicon seal. This has to be done carefully so that you don't ruin the hole for the syringe and wreck the seal that has to occur there. Then, the air tube can be wiggled and removed with needlenose pliers, a hemostat or heavy pointed tweezers. This will also expose the wick and coil but it is still inside the outer barrel and not easily cleaned.

As long as you're filling them upside down and not everfilling them, there is nothing wrong there. It's more than likely the liquids you're using. I flush the ones I use RY4 in every time I fill them and that helps a lot. You may want to try that. As afr as taking them apart, yes it can be a pain in the ...., but once you do it once or twice it gets very easy. When I really clean them I do about 20 at once, dis-assembly, cleaning, re-assembly and refill in about an hour. I can find the time for that, I'm sort of retired, but it sure as heck extends their life tremendously probably to the chagrin of SI.

how do you flush them?
As long as you're filling them upside down and not everfilling them, there is nothing wrong there. It's more than likely the liquids you're using. I flush the ones I use RY4 in every time I fill them and that helps a lot. You may want to try that. As afr as taking them apart, yes it can be a pain in the ...., but once you do it once or twice it gets very easy. When I really clean them I do about 20 at once, dis-assembly, cleaning, re-assembly and refill in about an hour. I can find the time for that, I'm sort of retired, but it sure as heck extends their life tremendously probably to the chagrin of SI.
