Whew, I saw it on another post and couldn't believe my eyes! 
Imagine, what's the "official" cut-off time? I'm thinking of switching to Spinners exclusively, and this is something I should know first...hoping for a nice and long 10 seconds, like on the manual X2s (but would probably be OK with 7+).

Can I use any mini-USB cable to charge my Volt X2 or is there something particular I need to look for? The reason I ask is because the cable that came with my X2 frayed very badly at the joint so I do not feel comfortable using it (and it doesn't charge anything particularly well) and I don't see replacement cables listed on the SI website.
I think replacement cables are free - you just have to ask them for one. You can use any mini (I went out and bought a better quality one), but if you use non-SI ones, you'd void your warranty.
If you do use a non-SI mini USB cable make sure it is a higher quality one. The inexpensive ones have smaller wire for the power connections which will increase the charge time and like Cindy says, doing that might kill your SI warranty.
good to know.. I have one charge cable that is having the same issue.. connection right behind the mini usb is weakening and almost exposed.. good thing I have 4 more!

It's 7 seconds. At least on my 1300 spinner. The 650 and 1300 x2s have a 10 sec cutoff.

I buy 10-20 nano's at a time and it would be really nice to be able to mix up colors instead of 10 of one color at a time. The bulk discount for buying 10+ is way too good to not do.

The limitation Imagine is talking about is a limitation built into most e-commerce systems. Imagine, can a phone order mix and match for the discount, or do phone orders basically go into the same system?
How about adding a new item for the Nano's, rainbow packs, sold in 5's and 10's of varied colors.
Quick question. If an X2 battery is shot...no longer holds a charge...it will not work in passthru mode...right? I don't have any yet, but I do have one getting a little weak, and I'm trying to decide if I should pick up a couple of regular straight passthrus. Also, the regular passthrus only work on a 1.5 plug...is that also correct? Can I use the regular passthrus on something higher...like a 2 amp plug?
Once a x2 is dead it will not function in passthrough mode. The regular passthrough needs a min 1.5a to fire anything higher is fine.
Awesome idea! They could do the same thing with the T3's as well!
I can guarantee I will order some multi color packs of nano's if you offer em
