When I found out e-cigs were available in the US (I'd read articles on them when they first came out in China) I ordered one for my husband and I after doing an amazing amount of research and watching video reviews/instructions. We stopped buying cigs the day before they showed up so by the time we got them I'd have none left. It worked out well. We went for 4 months with out an analog and were fine. Now I do have an occasional cigarette when I'm drinking or out with friends but I would say that would be very minimal. I do enjoy a good analog every once and a while (I hate the smell horribly though). My breaking point was when my mother passed away this year and e-cigs just weren't cutting it.

I think there was also a period where I was just getting bad equipment. No throat hit= bad for me. I just got a Janty Ego and am very pleased with it's performance!

I bought some stuff from my local aquarium place to try the mod but it didn't work very well and had a residual taste that put me off. A very kind lady here on the forum posted some of the genuine blue foam to me from the US but it had a bad smell, like it was imprgnated with something. I've washed it by hand and even put it through the dishwasher, but he smell persists. I made a plug any way and it worked very well, but tasted like it smelled and after a couple of hours, I felt seriously nauseas and had to stop using it. I'll try putting through the washing machine next.

In the meantime, I'm using regular carts with the filler they came with and find that, as long as the atomiser is strong, the liquid feeds well and empties the cart. When the atomiser starts to weaken, I apply centrifugal force by flicking the PV a couple of times to force the juice to the coal-face and carry on. Just be sure to take a firm grip on it so as not to hurt innocent bystanders. :)

I had quit cold turkey last year Feb. 2nd. Made it ok until this March. Had some back to back major stressfull situations and right back to the analogs. Didn't help that everyone around me smoked either. Any hoo found out about the e-cig and quickly ordered one. I was smoking a pack to a pack in a half a day. I probably could have quit right away, but after hearing about the impending "ban" on them, I went into freak stock up mode. While I was stocking up I was still smoking due to the stress of not knowing whether or not the verdict would come before I had everything I felt I needed to make this work for me. I have anxiety issues.:p I had cut way back on the smoking but had not been able to quit. Now that I am comfortably stocked up for at least 2yrs I have been able to relax and enjoy my vaping. It did take some time to find the right mgs for myself. Got all that down now and I haven't had nor wanted one in over a month.:D

The day I got my 510 was the last day I had a cigarette, I had it on my way back from the grocery store before I got home and retrieved the mail. :D

Granted, that was only 5 days ago, lol - and I have had an errant thought or two about smoking a regular cig. So it's not completely gone, that craving.. but my 510 usually clears up any craving I might be having. :)
