It seems that some here are offended by Jesus's teachings, and His own words. Will I apologize for that? NOPE! Jesus taught the truth, and he spoke the truth so that all might be saved by believing in Him.
Many won't.........they will argue semantics, theology, what's politically correct, what they think God should do, yada......yada.....yada. This is the same type of mind set that also condemned Jesus. They didn't like His message.
Would it be right for me, or any of us christians here, to lie and say "It's ok, you don't have to follow Jesus. You can do whatever you want, Jesus was a liar, and you're going to heaven anyway." Is that what you want to hear? If so, go to a unitarian universalism church (or whatever it's called), because that's what they will preach over there. They will make you feel all warm and squishy inside, and everything is great.
You won't get that here. We live by the Bible, and we believe the Bible is God's Word and the truth is found inside that book and nowhere else. God is love, Salvation is through Jesus alone, and outside of that there is no love, no light, only darkness and evil. That's the truth. Don't wait till you die to find that out because I personally guarantee that you will regret it, it will be the biggest mistake of your life and there is no going back once your soul is there. Accept this message, and you will receive all of God's blessings in heaven. Reject it, and you will spend eternity in darkness with the one you choose to side with. It's your choice. I'm sure this will also offend you as well. I won't apologize for that either because I"m showing you love and concern by telling you the truth because I don't want you to end up there.
Things that you read here might come across as offensive to you. I'm sure some were offended when Jesus overturned the tables of the money changers in the temple. I'm sure some were shocked and offended by that, and other things He said and did. But never did He water down the truth and lie to people in order to spare their ego or feelings when it came down to teaching the truth. To do so would be a lie, and only satan lies.
Now I'm going to say it again, atheists and others who deny God, do serve satan by default, they stand with him, even tho they don't know it. They are doing his will because his main goal is to get as many souls away from Jesus as he possibly can. If you are doing the will of somebody, you are on their side, working for their team. Sorry, it's true. If you don't like it, feel free to retreat and not read this section again. Or, you can pray to God for understanding and start studying the Bible to see what God wants from you. It's your choice.
And remember, this is a Christian sub-forum, hence the name Christian Vapors. This is not a forum for unbelievers, or for people to argue, flame, insult our beliefs. We welcome others here who want to associate and learn, but we are under no obligation to carry on a conversation with someone who is just here to flame or argue. The OUTSIDE section is fine for that, but not here, this is a peaceful place and we want to keep it that way.
Every question has been answered, in depth, to the best of our ability. Use that information anyway you choose. Reject Jesus, or accept Him, your choice. If you don't like the way we talk, find another christian group that you do like if you are really seeking the truth. But know and fully understand, that you will be held responsible for the choice you make, and it will not be a reflection on any of us here. In the end, you will stand alone. You will have no excuse, you will find no words to explain, there will be no justification as to why you rejected Him. You will be stripped of all appearances, all arguments, you're big words and clever sentences won't matter, debating skills will fall away like a plastic mask that is taken off, ego is destroyed, all false reasoning, it will be exposed, through God, what the plain core truth is, that there is only light and darkness, and there will be no second chances.
Jesus is the only way to eternal life, salvation is through Him alone, everything else is a lie. Only YOU can decide your own fate. I hope you make the right decision for your own sake.
