Has anyone found a way to minimize condensation getting inside the air hole? I am getting a very slight gurgling or hissing sound after going through 1/3 of the tank. I blow out the excess liquid, and things go back to normal until that hissing-gurgling sound comes back again. I have had this problem not only with the mini but also with KFL and the nano.

Do you have a pic of your base? Curious what the top of your center post looks like sticking out of the base. Also make sure the pos block is tight enough.

Here it is. The center post is sitting 1+ mm above the base, preventing juice from getting inside.

Maybe try to move the wick away from the air hole? Can't really if the wick is touching it. Might be getting some liquid in there??? How big is your coil?

I think it's a 3mm coil, perhaps 2.5mm. I may try a smaller diameter, but isn't it normal for condensation to accumulate inside the center post? I was thinking everyone had this problem - or not?

As Rick says .. from that pic.. it looks like the wick is really close..seems like as when the wick gets used it'll lay down on the airflow hole..

But it also looks like the coil leg is over the top of the air-flow, which will also allow juice to drip inside..

Maybe flip the coil so the legs come off the bottom.. that way they line up with the post-screws..

IMO a smaller dia. coil would give you more wraps to clear the top and you could raise it up a-bit 1mm is pretty close..

Thanks for the idea. I had thought of doing that some time ago, but didn't want to go against conventional practice.... In fact it would be much easier to install the coil upside down.

Is it really coming off the top? Looks to me like the legs are coming off the bottom, but from the opposite side from normal - i.e. the coil is wound in the opposite direction from how I normally would wrap it - so that the end had to cross the air hole in order to wrap it around the screw clockwise.

What gauge wire is that? Thicker wires will sometimes keep sizzling after you release the fire button. Maybe the liquid is falling into the air hole when the coil is sizzling and sputtering after you've finished your draw?

Just a wild guess.

The coil in the picture is coming off the bottom. I think Swampus was suggesting to flip the coil so the legs would come off the top instead.

The wire in the picture is 29 gauge around 3 mm. I have always had trouble with positioning the legs so they would go clockwise. They end up crossing the hole in the process....

Exchaner, look at those pictures--those are the best ones I could find to show you a properly built and positioned Kayfun-style coil. The legs should come out straight from the coil right under the screw. Your legs need to be short! The shorter the better. Don't flip anything upside down and don't let the leg cross over the air hole. And try a smaller ID coil--2-2.5 mm is just right for this small Kayfun.

Also, make sure you build a correct coil. Kayfuns take a right-handed coil.

Man, I am getting dislecsic trying to see the difference between a left-handed vs right-handed turn. If I use a screw to wind my coil, should I go clock wise to get a left handed coil?

Also it seems I misunderstood Swampus about the legs coming from the top. I thought he meant flipping the coil upside down .... In your pictures the tails are coming from the bottom, not the top.

Start with the wire in the back of the rod and wind it clock wise to the right

If you're holding your screwdriver and the end of your wire in your left hand, make the first loop over the rod and away from yourself. Does it make sense? IOW, clockwise. Then unwind your coil half a loop (legs facing in opposite directions) and your coil should look like the one in my picture above.

Also, make sure to trim excess wire as close to the screw as possible--tuck the remainder under the screw head if necessary. You don't want a short.

I have done all of that and i still get liquid going into the air channels. Even with the tank completely closed and fill it up with juice.. I go to vape it and something is leaking inside.. Its either a faulty design or maybe the orings or something inside is lose or something. Should i contact them and try to get a new atomizer? Or do u think i should hold onto it and get authentic o rings.. It still vapes good, and its not really flooding, but its annoying as hell to hear gurgling sounds and once in awhile juice does seem to come out of the airholes
