Has anyone tried the clone from Angelcigs?

I ordered one from Angelcigs to compare it to the authentic. It arrived in 3 days from CA to AL, after I ordered it. I wasn't expecting the best when I got it, but to my surprise it was an absolutely identical 1:1 clone. Packaging, instructions, spares, and the device itself were identical to the authentic. The only difference in the two were, I had to clean the Angelcig device, and the logos were laser etched and still had a slightly discolored finish, where the authentic was smooth and didn't require cleaning. The 510 pin was just finger tight and I had to tighten it. It performs as good as the authentic and is made just as good. This was the case with the one I got. I have no idea who makes it. Hope this helps.

My Plus arrived from FT today, 16 days after ordering.

It's logoed!

Broke it most of the way down, Dawned it, rinsed and dried. Will pull the o-rings in a bit and lube them and tighten the CP (with a screwdriver holding it) later on tonight.

Maybe tomorrow for a first build.

Got my Tobeco KFM3 in today - 2 days shipping! Very oily out of the box. Broke it down and cleaned it with Dawn. Put a 1.8 30awg coil on it (tight, but not contact coil) with a Scottish Roll wick. I did go ahead and leave the air screw out. Really happy with the performance so far. I'm using unflavored for testing and am picking up a hint of machine oil, so will need more cleaning.

This one has the logos and a bag of spare parts, but no instructions. Overall, I can't find anything to gripe about other than the excessive oil. After another cleaning, I'll check with some flavored juice. No gurgling, flooding, or leaking so far.

BTW, for everybody griping about the size, it is exactly the same height as an original Evod tank from base to tip (excluding 510).

Yes, I had to wash mine twice, then give it a vodka soak before the oily smell went away. I've had mine for a few weeks now and it's still performing well. It's a decent clone.

My new ones always get dawn and a trip to the bar..they love their vodka :)

JFC O-Rings:
I placed an order for a variety of different size o-rings in both, Buna N70 and Silicone for the mini/plus, hopefully get by weeks end.. and be able to confirm some of the sizes I measured..

**Disclaimer: I am no expert and measuring o-rings is a close guess at best..Reason I ordered such a multitude of different sizes..
I will have a better guesstimate after I receive my order..So don't order from this ......**

My mini stock rings were 1.5mm x 7mm..Which we know are not right and tear up..

I put the next to the smallest o-ring on my mini to test, (one of the colored (silicone??) ones and one of the black) so far working, but maybe just not right..they are 1.5mm x 6mm, the extra tight stretch helps thin out the 1.5mm CS.

The thinner one I been using is 1mm x 7mm, which may be just a-bit loose..maybe the cause for slight drips now and than..

The larger 1mm x 9mm in the spares for the mini..Is actually the one that came installed on my Plus, functional yes, but a bit too loose..maybe the cause for slight drips now and than..

IMO*slight drips are not leaks..leaks are when you lose half a tank*

So far it looks like a few different ones will work..hopefully will find ones that work best..

Than post a size chart to make ordering better quality ones easy..(fingers crossed)..

So is there a consensus on which clone is the one to get ? I may buy an original but not yet I apologize i am physically unable to read the entire thread at present. I have just scanned a few pages so I see I o-rig size issues and machine oil. Curious if one is meant to be better than another. I was just about to check out at 3f with it. But I won't buy anything from them again until they resolve my cloud one issue. So thanks for the suggestions. .

What do you think about the Plus one that holds 3.5ml of liquid? I recently got one of those and I like it more than the 2ml ones I got from 3F. Love the larger capacity and they are a little shorter.

Reposting--it's all been covered in the thread, as Magic noted...

I found this on an Italian website--no idea if those measurements are correct, but it's a start. Thoughts?

Well - take care with this one.

I ordered said O-Rings, but given diameters seem to be outside diameter.

My online dealer sorts and sells by inside diameter!!!

Thanks, and Please update when you get yours, it will be interesting.

I've seen that and don't know if those are correct or even close, so I was bored and decided to measure up a few..ordered a few different ones in stock sizes, so not to get into special order sizes..

Those do seem to be measured with OD and not ID..

I will update when my order gets here and see how they compare :)

Sorry, I was just trying to be helpful. And I did include a disclaimer: "no idea if those measurements are correct."
