I'm not selling ! :)

What you described is normal after a long period of vaping for every atty I've ever seen with airholes below the level of the deck. I get this sometimes with both my original KF mini v3 and with the clones. The "fix" is so simple I just thought you might be interested in trying it.

Attys vary in the volume of the air chamber and how the air is channeled up to the coil. Sometimes it takes a really long time to see the condensation on attys like the Ubertoot, Kanger Subtank, Crown or Bachelor because the chambers below the deck are huge. On other attys with more direct and restricted air channels the condensation is noticeable sooner.

If you aren't interested in trying a simple fix, no problem. We all get to vape the way we want.

Dude, really! You can keep saying it's "normal" but that doesn't make it so. NONE of my other RTAs have this issue, including two authentic KFL+, one R91, one EHPro KFL+, KFMV3 Plus, and the KFMV3 SXK version. If it were "normal" they all would be seeping and NONE of them are. So yes, you are selling, and it's malarky.

I have the original and it does this too. I tried for hours to fix it, but it didn't stop. Just do the "mini pad" trick and enjoy the device. It takes 2mins to do.

Mini pad trick: unscrew the 510 screw to get access to the underneath. Then put thin cotton around the sides. Screw the bottom panel back on, and it's done. No more leaking!

I just ordered a kayfun 5 and will probable have to do the same trick on this.

Every time you change the coil, just replace the mini pad.

All problems solved and no more leaking!

Just done this to 2 of mine that have the bottom leak, not sure it will work, as surely will just soak up the ejuice, but once at capacity it will leak again, but we will see :)

This is starting to sound like a porno, so I am going to stop typing.
I love it when you talk dirty! :thumb:

No, it's not solved. You just can't see it and you've got a nasty mini pad in your KFMV3! :(

Don't take it personally. Irritated is my natural state. I do appreciate your suggestion to turn the RTA upside down to minimize the issue- I just really don't think this should be necessary.

I would not want to put a band-aid on anything. It can only be coming from 1 of 2 places(or both). If it's the o-ring, easy fix is a larger one. If it's the air hole maybe try teflon tape or try the plastic screw that was for the KF4's. I'll look for that screw and get back to you...

My Tobeco clone leaks a little. I'm convinced it's from the shaft with the AFC screw and not from the o-ring.

Last time I took it apart - I probably check it after every 2-4 tank refills - I noticed that there was some liquid inside where the screw is, but none in that squarish area below that. With the deck section detached from the tank, I covered the four air holes on the circumference of the assembly and blew through the air hole on the deck. Some liquid came out onto a napkin I had placed under the assembly. When I looked inside the shaft again, it looked clean and free of liquid.

That proves to me that the screw is not air-tight - and is therefore in all probability not liquid-tight. I've thought of trying Teflon plumbers tape, but I read somewhere that it's not a good idea to get that tape close to a heat source. I have no idea whether that's true, but...

Good to hear that even the authentic leaks too, though.
