I just got in 2 EHRros today from sweetvape. They have the updated nuts with the flat sides and everything comes apart as it should. I know I read earlier that someone could not get the little nut out in the base that's in the insulated sleeve (the one the 510 pin screws into). I can confirm that it comes out, its a bit tight in there but it does comes out. They both work great and I would say the overall fit and finish and polish is way better than my red o'ring FT clone. Also my FT clones weeps once and a while from I'm assuming the #16 o-ring. The EHPros came with an extra set of o'rings so I replaced the o'ring in the FT clone and hopefully that stops it.

Well damn. Mine must be jammed in there really tight. I'm over trying to get it apart. Oily taste is gone now.

Yeah the v7 is awesome! My only complaint is how long it is haha. My 350s were dead so I've got an 18650 in it at work right now and people look at me funny when I'm on my break vaping. Looks like those old German potato masher grenades hah..

I mostly use 18350 mode. 650 is way too long.

Picked up a Made in USA clone in black with 4S kit from fleabay.

Gave all of her a good "shining"!

Gave her a good wicking!

And let her rip!

Only thing I have noticed is I have to unscrew the 510 drip tip adapter because the tank builds up vacuum - 100% VG. Refills often...

Great quality from what I could see and feel. Ni200 7 wraps 30 gauge .31 ohms on Sallys'. Sustains 18W without TP kicking in.

vape on! :vapor::2cool:

Yes. Me too. I got shipping notice from VaporTek for the spares kit and the 4s kit. Can't wait to get these in!
My SS Tobeco from the Bay is doing well. I did away with the spring since I couldn't get accurate ohm readings. Replace it with a sanded down brass compression sleeve used for fittings.. the reason is because I wanted to use ni200 and it seems to be doing well.

I wrapped for a .11 coil but get .12 and sometimes .13 is the correct or could i have other connectivity issues I need to look into??

:D
I thought that would raise some eyebrows!

When I bought it I interpreted it as seller meant it was the best 1:1 sold in the USA. I contacted him after the sale to let him know how I liked it and asked him if it was the tobeco or ehpro. He said no these are made by a private manufacturer. I asked you don't really mean here in the US. He said yes, right here in the USA.

I too think it has to be China, the quality is outstanding. I don't think we have anyone left that can do this high of quality and precision of work on something this complicated.

Wait...did I just say that?! Out loud?!

Fact is I don't care where it was made though he claims USA, I love it. :toast:

That's a great idea, when mine starts acting up I was thinking of something very similar. .01ohms has made a difference for me in the past with taste and that led me to finding connection problems. With that said, all my builds will jump around a bit in that range and if they still taste the same, I don't sweat it. As long as it tastes good to you and doesn't jump out of TP mode and start displaying voltage instead of temperature then I wouldn't worry about it.

Hey guys me once again - Been faffing with this Kayfun 4 Clone for a week or so now, and ive replaced all of the o-rings which has stopped any leaks especially the one from the drip tip adapter when it was upside down (left all night with a full tank and it was dry) But..it still will not wick for love nor money, its had around 13 builds in it so far all pretty much the same and with different length tails, density etc and the same outcome after 5-6 pulls its dry and you can hear the wick struggling to stay wet after you let off the button.

Now ive made sure the juice holes are free, i can stick a drill bit through them no issue, and liquid seeps from the top down into the groove no issues. One thing ive noticed when ive filled it with the juice control shut off and then twist it to open i only get airbubbles from 1 of the holes in chimney section despite all of those holes being open and free of any burs. Is this normal on a working one?

Second thing and this is either for anyone in the know or has to access to a genuine or even infact a working clone, could you measure the hole diameter of the 4 juice holes on the build deck, on mine they are 1.2mm, i need to make sure this one is either correct or needs altering more - if any of the above doesnt work i obviously have a duff clone which happens, but id rather it not be the case.

Thanks in advance to you all.

You could have an air bubble issue. Try blocking the 4 airholes and take some puffs in front of as mirror while letting a little air in one hole and see if it makes bubbles and fixes your issue. I had dry hits a couple times with mine and this fixed it.

Sounds like a wick issue. What type of coil? ID size? I'm using a 2.8mm ID coil with rayon trimmed to brush the juice deck and I don't have any dry hits even while chain vaping (10+ draws within a min). My first build, I cut the wicks a bit short and it wasn't touching the juice deck and I was getting similar results as you with dry hits.

My Tobeco just showed up :D First impressions, it's as well built as everyone says :D Really wasn't that dirty, It's bin washed coiled and wicked it has one of my favourite juices in it (Hawk Sauce) It's vaping like a beast and the Flavour is Epic. Here's hoping it don't develop any strange leaks.

The Tobeco is the cleanest of the 3 brands I have. The FT "A" version wasn't too bad but the FC version was filthy. After sorting out the FT and FC versions, they all vape great.

I agree with you so much, it's like I wrote this! Having the same issues and just ordered a Lemo and looking forward to it.

I saw some of the other responses/replies and must say:

- I've tried the covering all air holes method and it'll give me some nice bubbles and a few nice hits, but then it goes back to cr*p dry hits....
- I've tried many many different wick sizes/coil sizes and still having wicking issues.
-The only time I don't have wicking issues is where the top of the juice level is no higher than around 5mm below the top of the glass portion. (So as to greatly limit my capacity). Even then it's not perfect.
- No matter what, I never fill what one would call "too high". I always have a nice size big air bubble for vacuum/etc. I probably try to/like to fill to half way up that tiny nurled nut at the top there.

^ ^ ^ This is how it is for both my Tobeco V4 clone and my EHpro clone. But the Ehpro adds leaking when filling despite closing juice.

- I have replaced the #16 with 11/1.5 and the #18 with 10/1.5. (The Tobeco does NOT leak when filling for the record.)

Getting pretty fed up, hence why I ordered the Lemo. But I bought all into the clone v4's (I have a 3rd unopened one) and all kinds of replacement parts and stuff, so u want to get them working the way they apparently can!

When the juice level is about to be "gone/empty" the hits are glorious... Wish I could solve this wicking issue....

Not sure what to suggest. My Tobeco V4's were clean them, coil, wick and vape. Going on a few weeks with not a hint of a leak. The one time that I started to get dry hits was when I left the wick a little too long. I think I was covering to much of the juice holes. Rewicked with shorter trails, and all was good again. Good luck. I hope you get them working. I really enjoy mine. By the way, I'm using Japanese cotton with a wick diameter around 2.7mm. 10 wraps of 26 gauge kanthal at about 1.3 ohms.

Awesome. Thanks much. I'm also Ko Gen Do (or whatever - haha) and first tried 7/64" or 2.8mm, now back to what I consider my "old reliable" and used in my EHPro Kayfun Lite Plus's 3/32 or like 2.4 mm.

(I mostly use 28 gauge kanthal, but tried 26 with the 7/64 for the larger coil build and probably like 8 wraps). With my smaller 2.4 mm I go around 9 wraps of 28 g kanthal.

Tried different wick lengths and densities and theories... I don't know what the heck is going on, but it's upsetting.

Oh and I like to be up closer to around 1.6 ohms. I like surface area on the cotton for flavor.

Thanks!

Wow. (27) is a new one. Maybe isolated to your specific v4? Does the Amod come with spares? I would try replacing those o-rings.

I think the metal piece is malformed, because I replaced all the orings and they're all in good condition. After breaking the glass put on the m-tank. Now it only leaks out the air holes if I don't hit it for a few hours or I leave it on it's side.

Post. Picture of your build..?

I'll try to take a break and run out to my car and snap a pic or two of the current builds. I'll do both since it's so easy in these things! Good idea.

I'm a firm believer in Murphy's Law, if it can be done it will be done. That said then it it possible some folks have the JC closed instead of open? Had to ask, figured it can't hurt.

Haha - worth asking but it's not that sadly.
