Let's see if this works, or if I need to head on over to photobucket first.

These are only 2 or three days old and I'm running Namber juice Doughnut Pounder in the black one (It's the smaller bottle which I believe is 50/50 - awesome juice btw).

And the silver one is probably 75% five pawns Castle Long and half RY4 something or other from Clouds of Vapor.

I'm a mouth to lung hitter (2 in a row every time), with the air flow set closer to the Kayfun Lite type pull.

*Edit - Holy cr*p it worked!

*Edit again... Now adding the photobucket since the quality was weak. Sorry I can't figure out how the heck to get rid of the original attachments.....!

Maybe there's something to be gleaned from this, working great, used more than it looks.

Something that is besides looking flooded, I kind of unscrewed the tank instead of doing it correctly and juiced myself.
Man could I go for a loaf of Stagno's Italian bread and an Iron City beer.

Thanks so much guys for the continued input and advice, this place beats any other forum for the quality of people full stop.Im actually quite pleased (hehe) that stanleybb50 actually said he has the same issue, as i thought i was going insane.

Ok JC is definatly open (easy mistake to be made), ive done everything thats been mentioned so far, and i think im closer - its not fully drying out but you can hear it struggle to replenish the cotton - which is still making me think its not pulling juice down and then back up to the deck, but why i cant figure out. Like i said earlier im only noticing bubbles coming from specific hole on the chamber, none of the other holes have bubbles - if i block all 4 airholes and pull i can flood the deck and get gurgle but again after a small amount of time its going dryish, but not like before so im sort of getting there.

I have to say i changed all the o-rings and insulators with the Genuine spares pack from Svoemesto, Apart from #16 i changed that to a 12x1.5 right off the bat, because in the UK we dont have vendors stocking the tobecco spares at all. At the moment i dont have pictures as my Cell/Mobile phone is in a million pieces lol but it looks the same as Stanleys pretty much.

I too thought I was going insane. I've tried so many different builds! Everyone talks about how well it keeps up and everything too. I've tried short, long, thick, thin, fluffed, juicing it before putting that first part of the chimney on and without (stuff/fluff method) all to no avail...

If the top of mine looks a little funky with that one strand sticking out, it's only because I replaced that #18 or whatever o-ring last night and might have bumped the integrity of the top cotton. Just cosmetic for today is all.

I've done so many different builds at this point - haha.

And I agree! I've been reading this forum for probably 2 years and never made the jump to actually figure out what I had to do to post... Haha just thought it was a glitch until I researched and made 5 posts in the new members forum.

Also - been analog free since January 19, 2013! (ok maybe I had a half of one each new years eve and then a whole one at a wedding this past June.... But let's not hold that against me! Haha)

Mainly thanks to this forum! Started on egos (kanger mt3) then aerotanks at one point, then nautilus, then got the kayfun light plus's sometime this fall and haven't looked back since. Loving the RTA concept when I have it working!

^^^^ It seems to me that it is something about your builds as the hardware is all the same. Unless your liquid is really thick (some are doing it thick) it should work.
Try changing you build from one extreme to the other if you haven't already. Longer, shorter, tighter , looser , higher, lower, ect.

My Tobecco clone is very temperamental for wicking. I spent days failing to eradicate dry hits.

Finally I have a build that seems to be working. 28ga Kanthal, 3mm id, about 6 wraps giving 1.8 ohms. Very close to airhole, fanned wick just touching the deck.

I'm slowly cranking the watts up - am up to 10.3 so far and not a dry hit for about 10ml juice.

My authentic is very forgiving; I can build anyhow and chain vape it. My Tobecco definitely has wicking issues compared to the authentic. I've checked juice holes for obstruction and burrs.

I've mentioned this one other time, but I've found that with some of my thicker juices, I can start to get dry hits. What I've found is that air bubbles are getting trapped under the build deck. If I tilt it to about a 30 degree angle from sideways, I'll see a couple nice air bubbles come out as expected.

I'm not sure why it does this, but I have found that it seems to keep me going. Once I'm down to about 1/3 of a tank of juice, the problem goes away.

I'm going to check to make sure I have no burrs or metal lip or anything on the underside of my tank. I'll report back if I find anything, but right now I'm thinking it's probably just due to slightly thicker juice.

The 4s kit air flow stem has a pretty good restriction to it if JC locked all the way open. A simple dremel cut off wheel making some slots really opens it up.

Original stem on left, original 4S in middle, modified 4S on right.

If I tilt my authentic I see bubbles.

It wicks perfectly, so I don't see that the bubbles necessarily signify enhanced wicking. For me.

Fair enough. But if I don't tilt mine I don't see bubbles and I get dry hits. Again, only with thicket juices (70vg and up).

Thanks for all the advice everyone! I think! Juices definitely are on the thicker side. And like someone said above, I'm good when I get to 1/3 full.

The one post above is really tempting me to pay out a bunch of $ and get the Svo Mesto (pardon my spelling - haha). Mainly because I have so many spare parts now too - haha I bought "all in" on the v4! I have at least 2 authentic o-ring kits, and some smoked glass, poly tanks, you name it. Haha.

Namber Juice Doughnut Pounder is pretty thick, regardless of the ratio, and the other mixture is probably up close to 60-70% VG.

It was getting irritating though! Haha it's like the juice is trapped in there! No amount of priming works in that situation... Just covering all air holes and pulling... Thanks again for all the advice! I've got a decision to make on whether I will drop another $190.... Or maybe wait for my Lemo which I read is good for thicker juices.

I might also revive my Ehpro lite plus clones with new o-rings too. Maybe it's just my juices.... Dammit. Lol

*Thanks for listening to another rant from me on the subject!

One thing you can try is to add a few drops of distilled water into your juice to thin it out to see if that helps. I generally use 50-80% VG juices and adding distilled water helps a lot.

When I took the pic that I posted a few posts back I ended up dumping all it's juice accidentally, I just now filled it with some really thick stuff, I'll see how that goes and report back.

I'll try this tonight. Excited this might actually help!

*Might just try filtered or bottled water though unless you think this would be hazardous? (I don't feel like running out tonight).

    Excellent - thanks much!

I don't think it'd be hazardous but filtered would be better as there's less minerals than bottled water but you'll still taste it a bit. Distilled is more pure and has almost no taste.
