Try a 2.8mm ID coil. More cotton/rayon, more wicking, more juice, more vapor and flavor.
You guys that are running coils over 2mm, are those more for lung hits or can they work for us mouth to lung dudes? My Magma has a 3/32" on it and just doesn't cut it unless I really rip it straight to my lungs..

Just redid my coil tonight. 28ga kanthal around 2.5mm. It came out to about 1.4 ohms. Wicked it with the tails fluffed and just touching the deck.

No dry hit issues after I got it properly primed and it's giving me better flavor than ever. I've found the sweet spot is around 18W for me.

I think the length of the tails is key, at least for me. The juice wells can be crammed full so long as the tails are the right length.

Edit to add: it's now ripping through juice too! Very flavorful and moist vape. One of the best I've had.

I make my coils larger for more flavor. I wrap 3, 3mm pieces of silica on mine. I'm also using rayon with the same size coil. I wrap them 5 times spread out evenly. Never had any luck with tight coils.

I'm a mouth to lung guy. I tried lung hits and it just doesn't do anything for me. When I want to impress friends, I'll do a lung hit for a ton of vapor.

I've been building 2.4mm - 2.8mm coils @ 1.2Ω - 1.6Ω for a while. I started with 2.0mm but found it wasn't that great after a tank. What I found was that it was gunking up too fast and was getting dry hits because there wasn't enough wick in the coil. Now with the bigger coils and rayon, I rarely get dry hits even while chain vaping. Better flavor and vapor too but at the expense of using more juice.

Ok I can confirm now I am getting leaking from my 510 pin. Just took it off my Vaporshark and there was a little pool on the 510 connection. Seit it upright on the table and there was a drop there even after wiping it off.

Still getting flooding/gurgling/seeping after filling. Did check the #16 o-ring and it looked fine.

I've pretty much had it with this thing. The flavor and vapor are not better than my Lemo so it really isn't worth the hassle of constantly tinkering with it to get it to work right. If it was "all that" it might be worth working at to get it right.

That sucks for you. It's just not for everyone I guess. For me it has been great. I find it the best to fill, vape, clean, rebuild and look more than any other tank so far.

Lung hits kill me. I like seeing all that vaper that it makes tho.

Yeah I know. I really wanted to love this thing. If nothing else for the easy fill and deck removal. But I don't like to tinker to get and keep my stuff working right. Which is why I got out of mech mods.

a juice that I've had in plastic tanks a dozen times put a million tiny cracks in my PMMA tank this weekend. so weird as it's an apple pie flavor. never would have anticipated that

I had that happen on the first day I tried the bell cap tank piece I ordered. It was a fun waste of $6 and 3 weeks of waiting.

I tried mech mods also and it never worked. I need control of wattage to get the best flavor.
