It gave me a zip code error. Sais it doesn't match my city, but it certainly does. I have no idea.

Never mind I'm an idiot. ORDER PLACED!!! One thing was odd though. The cost of the V4 was only like 123 euros. It should have been 150, so maybe the price got lowered or who knows, but it said order went through for V4, S4 kit and P3 connector. WOOT! (I hope) Thanks guys I can't friggin wait.

Here is a pic of my order details.

Look at the cost. It equals $150 US down from $180. They either lowered the price or there is a mistake.

Ok so I've soaked in alcohol, hot water and green listening,... Scrubbed with dish soap and toothpaste and nothing is getting this machine oil taste out... Any other pointers??

Ahhh send it back to the machine oil company you bought it from.

Moonboog, let's us know what you think of the real K4 on the P3 thread. I might order the Kayfun Lite V2 from In Taste as they are $79.00 US shipped.

Keep cleaning it, the bad ones, like the Robot Tech I got require multiple washes before that nasty taste is gone. I use pipe cleaners for those tight spots, make sure to get inside the juice channels, airflow/positive pin, down into the 510, pretty much everywhere, but especially good in the airflow path. I just use a good dish soap, and very hot water.

Still on especially grubby ones it will take multiple washes (my experience any way). Basically my first wash consists of dish soap, pipe cleaner, hot water, old tooth brush make sure to take it apart 100%, and clean inside/outside every single place. Doesn't take much of that nasty stuff to taste it.

Really bad ones get about an hour in the UC cleaner as well. Not really much more you can do, but repeat wash until its gone. I've never really had good luck with alcohol, or other solvents, never worked for me on the stubborn ones.

Honestly, I would hit it the metal peices with carb cleaner or something and then go through with the boiling and washing examples given.

I did not expect the first clones to be this good. I was thinking they would have leaking issues and jc control issues. Goes to show how much I know.

All clones I own are great. I love saving money with Clones.

Just got mine this morning. The box was a bit crushed and when I opened it, the glass section was shattered. That really sucks because that was how I was going to run it. I opened a trouble ticket with FT. Hopefully they'll just send me a replacement. It came with a bag full of replacement parts. The most spare parts I've ever seen.

I took it apart and washed in dish washing liquid and hot tap water. I let it sit for about 10 mins and then rinsed everything off. I noticed that the whole atty was kinda slippery with machine oil as I was having a tough time taking it apart because it was screwed together pretty tight and it was slippery. After washing, I was able to get a better grip on it while screwing and unscrewing parts on and off.

I built a 1.5Ω coil (28g, 7 wraps, 2.78mm ID) and filled it with some hazelnut coffee juice because I can get to the deck to dry burn and re-wick easily w/o emptying the tank. It took about 3 tries to get the air flow adjusted to my liking but now it's set.

First impressions is that it's a pretty damn good clone. Threading is very good but the deck screws were a bit tight but worked itself out after loosening and tightening. It doesn't feel loose but also not as tight as it was. The airflow screw inside the 510 screw didn't close so I took it apart and cleaned the threads and now it fully closes. It came with a silver screw and ohms fluctuate about .05Ω when moving the juice control (rDNA goes to hundredths).

I'm vaping at 12w and flavor might be just a touch less than my KFL+ but vapor is good. I love the drip tip. I need to buy a few if they're available separately. The size is in between a KFL+ and a 3.1. Not as big as I thought it'd be. It's definitely heavier. I had it on my VS DNA30 but felt too top heavy so I tried it on my rDNA40. Much better.

I'll post some pics later today/tonight.

That sucks for the glass. FT sells the drip tips in a single or 5 pack. One for $1.80 or 5 for $6.41 http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10011882/2034102-kayfun-v4-style-stainless-steel-510-drip-tip-5

Tobeco have come a very long way since their early days - the Odysseus clone was the first clone they were known for - and it was a real dog.

They seem to be one of the best manufacturers now.

I agree hun :) I just took the Tobeco Kayfun V4 out of the mail and did a quick inspection, and its very well machined. All parts screw on and off perfectly, no crunchy threads, no misaligned pieces. I can tell that they tried to clean it up because mine does not wreak of machine oil, but there is a faint smell of it so I will clean again.

I did a quick side by side comparison between it and the Robbot Tech, and there are some aesthetic differences. The Tobeco juice flow controller moves much easier, not sure yet if that will be good or bad. Its not loose, just not as stiff as the Robbot. The tone of the SS is also a little lighter on the Tobeco, but it feels just as solid and well built. Definitely not a cheap feeling atty, that is for sure.

A few weeks ago Tobeco emailed me with some design updates, and they are using a silver plated copper 510 pin and spring, while the Robbot is all SS. Also the Tobeco has a burnt glass tank (smooth, rounded edges) which I prefer. Looking forward to getting her cleaned up and built, although I am not sure that will happen today :p

I have a RobbotTech version coming but after hearing all the good things about the Tobeco and, needing a second K4 ;) does anyone know of a good place to order a tobeco? tia.

I received mine from Artemus/custommodcreations, not sure what their shipping is like to Canada. I know FC has it for the US warehouse but it won't be listed until they return from Holiday. :)

Should have mine today. Is the one on FT the Tobeco one, or the one that claims to be "better than Tobeco?" I ordered mine from CodeVape and that's what their listing said. What company manufactures the non-Tobeco clone?

Amod is the brand of the one from Codevape, mine is coming Monday according to tracking.

I received mine today from FastTech and it really is a well machined piece. The chimney was a little dirty at the peak but other then that very nice. Vape real nice and was easier to breakdown then I thought it would be after seeing images of all the pieces. The four screws in the deck are sweet for a single coil build, everything lines up perfectly.

It has a 1.2 ohm 27ga with PBC in it and the flavor is awesome.
