Attack of the (Kayfun v4) Clones!

There was one poster that said the plastic tank that came with his Tobeco K4 clone wouldn't thread on, is this what others are finding or just an isolated incident?

I received mine today from fasttech and it really is a well machined piece. The chimney was a little dirty at the peak but other then that very nice. Vape real nice and was easier to breakdown then I thought it would be after seeing images of all the pieces. The four screws in the deck are sweet for a single coil build, everything lines up perfectly.

It has a 1.2 ohm 27ga with PBC in it and the flavor is awesome.

Ya that 4 screw deal is nice, no matter which direction that you wind your coil you can always place it in there the way you want it. I really don't see that it's meant for dual coils but that will work too, versatile.

Agreed, the 1.2 I have in there now is plenty for me and was incredibly easy to build. And thanks again for the drawing, I ordered my 1.5 O-rings last night.

Grabbed a tobeco kayfun 4 clone off ebay for 25 bucks shipped. Much faster than waiting on fast tech

I received mine from Artemus/custommodcreations, not sure what their shipping is like to Canada. I know FC has it for the US warehouse but it won't be listed until they return from Holiday.

I can't test that since mine is filled but I'll try it when I'm done.

This is the first time I'm vaping with a kanthal build on my rDNA since I got it. I tested kanthal on it before but never kept it on for more than a few puffs.

Fingers crossed I will get one delivered on Monday. If that happens I will get to test just how well it travels in flight on Tuesday. I believe that one is an AMOD version.

I've been reading up on this and I can't say that this is 100% correct but if you fill it off of the PV and open the juice control before adding the K4 to the PV folks are saying that it works just fine. The DNA chip reads the coil all the time and the spring becoming compressed is throwing off those readings.... they say

It might be worth giving it a shot, I'm going to when my second one shows up.

Yep over on the DNA 40 thread there appears to be a problem with the V4 and NI200 wire because of the spring. Seems like a very poor way of conducting current big changes in resistance. I am not sure about the clones but guess we'll have to see if SvoeMesto comes up with a fix. I love mine, it is a SvoeMesto but if it isn't goiing to work with Nickel I won't be happy cause I love the flavor with it. I'm kind of in agreement with them that for a high priced piece like this to use a spring for current is a poor idea.
