I was having occasional dry hits at 2mm, increased to 2.8mm, got much more flavor & no dry hits.
Never been able to hit anywhere near 25 or 30W, past 16 I start burning. Usually run anywhere from 1.1 to 1.5Ω.
Thats not a kayfun 4 pictured .... but think I may be having wicking issues if you're running the same on a v4!
Not sure if its colored glass, or has some type film on it. Hopefully my order will come sometime this week, not sure, don't have tracking on it. But shipped about 3 weeks ago.
I hear ya. When I ordered, all my glass was good. Since then, broke 2 different glass bands and cracked 1 plastic. Dropsies.
Shoulda ordered more.
I ordered a pack of the clear ones and honestly can't tell them apart from the real ones.

If it hasn't made it out of China yet you probably won't see it till next month sometime. It's Chinese New Year and absolutely nothing happens during the holidays and for about two weeks after. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Last time I checked mine was sitting in customs. Probably still is. Not sure why it has to go through customs to get out of the country but, there it sits!

I use rayon, this is the same coil style that I use in my K4's and about every other atty I have. I run my K4's at 20 watts, same with my other Kayfun's (back when I used them).
The devise is the RBA from a 25 mm Subtank.
I may sound like a brok-brok-brok-broken record, but why are y'all bothering ordering from China, when local US vendors consolidate enough qty to offer about the same price on e-bay with shipping included, no customs anxiety and delivery within a week?
And even in cases where they add a surcharge, I don't mind, they need to make a living too, it's way faster than China, the feedback system ensures good service, and we pay by US paypal.

I need some big help. Please forgive me as I am new. I just setup my Tobeco Kayfun v4 and it works great except....
How do I fill this without it leaking badly out of the air holes?
I followed the directions and screw the air holes all the way down (clockwise) and fill from the top. However the juice pours out of the air holes. I then unscrew the air holes (counter clockwise) take a few draws and it stops leaking.
What am I doing wrong? Please help, thanks in advance.

I'm not sure why it's stuck? You screw all the way counter clockwise to fill and then clockwise to use
"Above"? Well, no, there are 4 independent parts below the glass/metal tank ring that can all "spin" for different purposes. You need to do some more reading, Youtubing or Googling before launching, or you could strip/damage your unit (not to speak of your remaining coil jig parts) ;-)

I am even more confused after watching the video and reading the manual. My ring doesn't spin. It looks like just the top part with the logo spins to separate from the air ring and 510 connection (which stays together). It looks like it is supposed to spin by itself. I am going to go smoke a cigarette and then come back and try to figure this damn thing out.

I am now able to spin the air ring / flow control.
I am following PBusardo's video to the T. I unscrew the air ring all the way to left then unscrew the top and fill. Then reverse screw the top back on and then tighten the flow control but as soon as I do that it leaks out of the air holes again.

Place your left hand on the ring with the air holes. Do not let that ring move. Place your right hand on the ring below it. Looking from the bottom turn the lower ring counter clockwise until it stops. Again, don't allow the ring with the air holes to move. Remove the top fitting, add juice, replace the top fitting and reverse the process turning the bottom ring clockwise until it stops
