I actually have these O-rings in front of me- all 50 of them. I can attest they are not "overly soft". In fact they feel and look to be exactly the same material as what comes on the Tobeco KFv4 clone from the factory. If I sent two of them to someone and didn't specify which was which, there'd be exactly a 50-50 chance of discerning one from the other.

But if there is anything to take away from this is- again- many people are using the FT O-rings w/o issue. So sometimes a cigar IS just that.
My past experience with Chinese silicone o-rings lies with the red ones, they just didn't seem to hold up for long.

I know Lowes home improvement amd Home Depot have lots of O rings in all different sizes, does anyone know if they carry the 12 inch by 1.5 inch size?
I think you meant mm and not inches :p.

If I remember correctly, They don't have the exact size.

The reason I wouldn't trust the FT ones is because they have too much flash on the sides that might not seal properly for #16. Most o-rings seal from the top and bottom (just not in vaping applications) but #16 seals from the sides. 50 o-rings from Orings and more is under $5 shipped and takes less than a week to receive. I ordered a few other sizes (tanks 17 x 1, drip tips 5 x 1).

I have two black ones neither of which is a tobecco or ehpro. I got them from code vape. The first one came with egg shaped negative post screw holes that stripped on my first rebuild. Code vape replaced it and allowed me to keep the bad one. I bought a replacement deck for it and both work flawlessly. They came with the red orings and so far all is good, but I did order replacement buna orings for future replacement. I put a tobecco 4s kit in one of them and I like the difference it made. Not huge but it allows me a somewhat restricted lung hit. I have a lemo 2 for that also.

OK , after i refill i am starting to fully open the juice control but i have been leaving the juice control closed since i got it by accident and it seems to work fine , man , this thing is baffling to me.

Do you mean you can vape with your juice control fully closed?

Just think of the direction you screw the top on after filling is the same direction you turn the juice control ring to open it.

Yes, i have been vaping with the juice control fully closed and no issues to speak of , i don't get it. I am assuming only the very bottom piece is the juice control , not the knurled ring with the holes above it .
Actually the very bottom screws tight to your mod and the whole tank from the ring with the holes in it and above turns to open and close the juice control. Clockwise to open, counterclockwise to close.

Or, while looking at the bottom of the atty, turn counterclockwise to close off, clockwise to open. That helped me remember..

I think...

Just the very bottom section--below the knurled part--closes and opens the juice flow.
