Pretty sure the teminology was a direct insult to MTL vapors.I do both lung hits and Mtl depending on my juice, my mood and my nic withdrawl i need and use various tanks and vape styles to acheive my desire/nèed at the moment and the only opinion that matters in those situations is My own.
I experiment with other peoples experiences but at the end of the day I do what is most gratifying for me. But always take into considererations the opions of fellow vapors.

I've been trying lung hits and it's just too much. I just took a lung hit and coughed it out. lol... I can do it a little and it's ok but I prefer MTL.

No it wasn't. I was there when the term was coined by Croak--it was a joke and a term of endearment. We were just fooling around.
Try lower nic juice. I normally vape 6mg but when I tried in a dripper, I almost coughed a lung. I cut it with some VG (50/50 to make it 3mg) and it was pretty good. I normally vape MTL but once in a while, I do lung hits.
What really bothers me is the "sub-ohm" crowd using VV/VW mods. It's just dumb. Same guys "need" 100w+ mods.
I'm MTL exclusively as well, but I will say that I think that a 75% VG liquid, and 3mg nic juice wouldn't make you cough even on a full huge lung draw.

I cleaned out the base and rewicked with a little more cotton which is a pain with nickel. Seems to be working well now.
My only gripe with the yihi chip is the joules setting instead of watts. I think that I've found my balance there too.
Are you using organic cotton? Have you tried rayon? I've been using rayon for the last 8 months. I bought a 500' box and I still haven't used more than a foot of the stuff but it's awesome.
I've been going back and forth about the SX Mini M. Last month I decided to stick with the DNA40 and ordered 2 mods, VS DNA40 and Hana V4. The VS DNA40 is my new favorite mod.
