How's your VS200 holding up on the finish? I remember getting mine around the same time as you, and mine is getting pretty beat up looking.I still have a KF 3.1 and 2 KFL+ v2. I don't use them mostly because the KFv4's are much easier to fill but resistance is more solid on the 3.1 and KFL+. I have a Lemo 2 that I use once in a while but for the most part, just KFv4's.
I was on the road all day yesterday (18hrs!) driving my niece to her college and brought along my VS DNA200 and Hana V200. I got home with 55% battery on the VS DNA200 and 80% on the V200. Both had KFv4's on them.
Mine looks brand new. I got a sharkskin a couple of weeks ago. How's your VS200 holding up on the finish? I remember getting mine around the same time as you, and mine is getting pretty beat up looking.
I've been using it for the previous 2 months w/o a sharkskin and I haven't had any issues with the finish.Ah, gotcha, that would have probably helped keep mine looking good, shame they didn't have them available when I ordered the mod. Every time I throw it in my laptop bag pocket it comes out with a new scratch in the finish.
I can only speak for the v4. Common problems and fixes: leaky at bottom: dental floss behind #13 or replace o ring, lots of parts: it's common sense after putting it back together once and truthfully never have to fully disassemble unless tank swap or 1st clean, jumpy resistance: cheap copper spring mod, dry hits: I posted how I build before in this thread, lots of how to and youtube. I love the v4 have a velocity, orchids, silverplay, magma, etc etc but I'm not buying anymore. It is all about what your like personally but a v4 with a subohm kit is the perfect airflow and is very satisfying (and so cheap since I vape nonflavored 6-12%)... doesn't leak after addressing common problems, decent tank size, sturdy, doesn't take 1000 watts=good battery life, cheap as heck now, win![]()
Use the correct size screw driver to tighten it real tight, wrap the base with duct tape if necessary to be able to get a good grip on it.Here's where I got sucked in by the #13 oring reference. I edited my post to read #16. I don't memorize the parts list. There's only a couple areas that need attention. How do you keep #9 from loosening up and creating a woble?
Same here.I've never had one come loose when properly tightened.
Post a Pic...I do tighten mine but I guess I'll have to try a bigger screwdriver. I usually use a small one that grips one side of the nut (#9) to tighten.
Looking at my stash of Tobeco KFv4's, I now think I have too many![]()
LOLLoL, Actually I wanted to see his KF4 collection.
He has 12 now.
