I have still not re-assembled mine since last week. I still need to create a shim top put in #3, but I ran out of foil baking some chicken, so I don't have anything else laying around that I could use. Once I get some, and if it doesn't work, I'm just going to order a Tobeco and throw this one in the bin.

Darn, at work last night I saw that someone had put 3 of those aluminum disposable roasting/baking pans next to the recycle bins, they were unused. At the time I didn't think about it but a little piece of one of those would be about the right thickness.

That's a good idea. I'll have to scrounge around since I don't have any money until friday xD

Got my eBay Tobeco about 20 mins ago, got it soaking in some dish soap.. So to fill it, I just dump juice through that top piece with all the air holes or what?? Wish they threw in the parts diagram, but that's what the internet is for!

Mine came with an extra spring inside the clear tank, no other spares though.

Something to keep you busy while your KF v4 soaks...

Yep they are not supposed to be released till the 19th. I am thinking real seriously about ordering an HCigar and paying the extra 10 bucks.

Paying more doesn't necessarily get you a better clone. Look at the Robbottech version. Not very good at almost twice the cost of a Tobeco or FT clone.

I can almost guarantee that one of the ones at FT and the Hcigar one are produced in the same factory just put in a different box
Hcigar is like Sear and Roebucks, they make nothing , only market it.
almost = no guarantee

Got the EHPRo version in. It's taking a Dawn bath at the moment. Threading is great. Glass section has a minor flaw. Just a small hint of machine oil. The juice control does work as supposed too. On both Tobecos I received, you have to loosen the 510 pin to get it to work. One Tobeco stopped moving all together and the deck has seized. Right now, unless i have time to really fiddle with it, it is spare parts. The drip section on the EHP is round...but the Tobeco flat does fit.
The EHP version did come with spare o-rings and such.

First tank with the Tobeco going down! No leaks, glass tanks nice and snug.. Honestly its not much different from my EHPro KFL.. Actually I'm getting less flavor outta the same juice that's in the KFL but its still a "new" wick so.. Gotta pull the 510 out and tighten the airflow still too but aside from that, spot on Tobeco!!! The one from Artemus should be here tomorrow too hehe..

anyone have a suggestion to stop the leaking @ #16 oring? I wrapped dental floss around it, one wrap. any more and it wouldn't fit. but after a few hours my 510 is full of juice still :( kinda bummed, it worked so good for the first couple days and then started leaking...

I used cotton thread. About 10". I just got my o-ring order so I'll try that soon but no leaks so far.

My tracking # still shows "pre-shipment" :confused:
