Whenever I fill my Tobeco KF4 and open the juice control after the filling the air holes all leak a bit. Once I wipe them off it seems done however I would prefer this not to occur. Also, another question when the tank is filled should you be able to open and close the juice control without the air holes leaking juice? If I close and reopen the juice controls whenever juice is in the tank the air holes leak.

O-ring #16. 11mm x 1.5mm.

KTMRider thanks for the input. Are you indicating I need to replace the current O-ring #16 with a different one sized at 11mm x 1.5mm?

If you don't have extra oring on hand, you can wrap 1 to 2 rounds of dental floss under the oring instead. It works for me.

Yes, that's what causes the leaking from the air holes and ring. As ka724ka said (and others) you can wrap dental floss in the o-ring channel or thread.

Just got a EH Pro clone yesterday. Not bad on the quality, you can tell on the chimney that it has some edges still to the holes where the liquid flows down to the deck. However, the major issue with it is the top piece where the drip tip goes into is not slotted like it is on the authetic to let air escape to prevent flooding after top fill.

It didn't flood too bad, but it still flooded. I'll see on my next fill up if i can just vape it off real fast, otherwise i may just be filling with a syringe through the chimney for future.

My Tobeco doesn't do that (yet, anyways). I thought the Tobecos came with the correct O-ring?
Same here its rocking! I tried out the new one from Artemus last night too and its the same! Until I forgot I had the top off though and dumped most of the tank on my lap that is!

I don't understand why people are having so much trouble cleaning the machine oil off. It's just oil. Dish washing liquid will cut thru it. Hot water makes it more viscous and lets the dish washing liquid do a better job. You really don't need simple green, vinegar, rubbing alcohol, 24hr soaking or any magic dancing. If you still have machine oil smell or taste, break the atomizer down further. The juice control part also has an air chamber that you need to get to that has some machine oil. I suspect that's where most of you aren't getting to which is causing the lingering smell.

I cleaned mine in about 5 mins, swirling in really hot tap water and dish washing liquid. Sparkly clean and free of any foul odors.

Trust me, I had it completely dismantled, scrubbed the hell out of it, went through the tiny openings with pipe cleaners. This was some super nasty oil. Usually 20 minutes in alcohol and hot water rinse cleans one. Not that thing. You should have seen the black gunk up the chimney. It was like tar.

Please post this info in the thread I created here: EHPro Kayfun v4 - Not worth the money

I am working with my seller to try to get in touch with EHPro to see if they are going to offer a fix. Or at least an explanation as to why they omitted such a crucial part of the design.

I got my Tobeco K4 in this week. I'm baffled why all these parts costs only 30 bucks ! I think the other 150.00 is for cleaning off the machining oil. :D This thing vapes like a champ. No leaking, chain vaping with no dry hits. Impressive ! :)

Yup! Been vaping the Tobeco version for the last 2 days and I am 100% satisfied with it .. Tobeco is killing it lately!

My guess is that perhaps you are overfilling it? .. you should stop filling just as you can see the juice reach the level of the fill holes, don't go over them. I have top filled the Tobeco three times already and not one single drop of eliquid has leaked anywhere.

Manufacturing variances? My Tobeco doesn't leak at all. Not even slurpy. My FT "A" leaked quite a bit before I replaced the o-ring.

One thing you can try is after you fill normally, turn the atomizer upside down when you open the JC. That might help alleviate some pressure in the tank so it lessens the chance of flooding.

That's exactly what I did but it still leaked while jc was closed, it wasn't a lot but still enough to come out the airflow. Maybe I just didn't give it enough time.

It could be that the Ehpro is using a smaller #16 o-ring. Maybe try dental floss in the o-ring channel for a better seal? The pressure should escape almost immediately when you open the JC.

I have had my Tobecco up and running for a day now. Not one leak. And, knock on wood, it is solid on my DNA40 in temp control. Hasn't flucuated and is staying in TC mode all the time.

Ditto. I changed the battery on my rDNA40 and it jumped to .21Ω but went back down to .17Ω during refinement period.

It looks like the Tobeco is just about perfect. I can't find a flaw on this version. Not sure if it's just mine but that seems to be the general consensus.

Gotta love my vape mail today. Two Tobeco Kayfun V4's and a Cloupor mini 30.
