I have two tobeco kayfun v4's and both are leaking a fair amount even if I have the juice flow completely closed. This may be user error and I'm going to tear them down again and rebuild them tonight but I saw a post where someone said to check o-ring's 16 and 18.

Check O-rings #16 & #18 and replace them with 1.6mm thick ones. Additionally ensure the screw #9 sits correctly and is tight

Has anyone else needed to replace those? Also, one of my drip tips won't fit in, the o-rings expanded to what looks like double their size. I understand hot water can sometimes do this? The reason I mention this is even though the others seemed ok, I'm wondering if other o-rings have changed in size. Can o-rings shrink as well?

If I can't determine the cause I'm wondering if there's an o-ring pack yet for v4's? The person mentioned to replace o-ring 16. I would think the square o-ring would be a little uncommon.

I thought I was pretty thorough in building this and watched a few vids so I don't see where I went wrong, but if anyone has any suggestions or where to buy an oring pack I'd appreciate it. Oh I thought to eliminate something I switched one to the poly tank but same thing.

Thanks, never heard of that site. Not sure if they have all the ones the k4 uses, but hey, it's the o-ring store! Or maybe someone has already put together a link list for the k4... And I'm inspecting both right now, both leak but one is leaking much more than the other. I'm going to do a full reassemble and hope it solves it, but if it's an o-ring issue I'd rather just replace em and not second guess what is causing it.

As I mentioned, one user said pay attention to o-ring 16, which is the square one. I don't see that on the o-ring store, but I'll keep looking. I do hope someone puts together a kayfun v4 oring pack. Tobeco really should have included spares. It has me weary of future cleaning and o-rings change size (like my drip tip) and no longer fit properly. I saw a thread on that but ignored it previously as I've never had this issue. It just sounds weird, o-rings permanently changing size??

Awesome! thanks everyone for the links to spare o-rings. I am going to order some, but is there anything I should pay special attention to when rebuilding? I'm hoping I can solve this tonight vs waiting for an o-ring shipment.

I still suspect it may be something I did because others are saying that the tobeco is the one that doesn't have these issues. But again, I watched a few videos and paid close attention as to how to put things back together and the only that might seem complicated at first is the 510 connector.

They Do sark, that's where I got mine. And Vaperev also has a good kit, a little pricy ($13) but it comes with a bunch of spare parts including an upgrade to the spring and 510 pin.

I received my kayfun v4 last week. The first fill I had nothing leaked, I went refill my tank making sure to turn juice flow off then taking off the top for filling. I put the top back on and opened up the juice flow. From then on it started leaking out the airholes. I have tried using less wick, and also more wick. Has anyone else had this problem? I have not tried changing any o-rings yet. Also I realized if I take a harder draw out of one of the holes in the chimney I get a couple air bubbles coming out of only one though like I said. I have had no issues with my kayfun lite clone and love the flavor from them but I'm ready to give up on this one because it has leaked tanks on me when it is on it's side, or is my pocket. Also I have tried all three tank options but I am currently using the polycarbonate one. Thanks to anyone who can try to help me!

I suspect there are many tobeco owners that don't realise they have issues.

On my tobeco, when I tighten the 510 screw the juice control locks up. I'm hoping that this is the recognised fault across many clones and will be solved by a shim. Just waiting for my shim material...

Also it is not the tobeco model it is the one from codevape called kayfun v4 rda clone [ss] (it has red o-rings. )

I've had zero issues with my Tobeco clone (black). I've taken it completely apart (41 parts) and back together. I've had zero leaking. I have another one (silver) coming this week and I'll post my impressions on that too.

I picked up one from them too, the red O-rings were just to damn soft and I wasn't getting a tight seal on the tank. It's working well now with the o-ring upgrade.

Same thing with the FT red o-ring model.

Was it any one o-ring in particular? I will probably buy replacement o-rings, but just to see if i can make any temporary fix before I would get a shipment in.

I've order two of these kits, I could care less about the o-rings, I'm after those Teflon rings (hope they are really PTFE) and the rest of the parts.
Kayfun V4 by Tobeco Accessories Kit

#16 o-ring seems to not seal on the corners of part #17, you can it if you sight down the area with the o-ring installed, you can see the edge of the o-ring on the flat sides but it disappears on the corners If you can see it above the groove then it's probably OK. if not it may leak.

That happens to me when I fill above the clear tank portion.

My 510 screw does not do that on my 2 Tobecos I have 0 issues with mine. If yours locks up like that check the air screw to see if its hitting the 510 screw.
