You wouldn't keep them???

An honest person does the right thing when no one is watching.

Wasn't paying attention this morning while filling my Tebeco V4 and filled it completely over the top. Wiped off excess, blew a little juice out the air holes, wiped again, and opened airflow. Can't believe it. Still full to the bream and no leaks. Got a lot more juice in it than ever before.

If you want the most juice filled, take the tank off and fill from the juice holes.

I fill mine to almost the top of the counter nut. No problems at all. It gives me a 4ml fill.

So my Tobeco v4 arrived in today's vape mail (it's soaking as we speak). Anything I should know before I put a build in at and take it for a test drive?

OK... So, have it built and have tried several liquids in it and here's what I have found...

Over all, I like it. Machining seems "OK" and it all works well. I haven't had any issues with the juice control locking up. It is a bit... "Gurguleee" though. I hear a LOT of moisture in the air intakes and when I take it apart, I find liquid in the base (in the area between parts #8 & #17). I'm assuming that it's blow-by on O-Ring #16. I also have a lot of liquid on the sides of the inner chimney (#25), is that a poor fit between O-Ring #17 and the Evaporation Chamber #26?

Just wondering if anyone else has had these issues and what the fix might be...

Yep, change out 16 and 17. Or put some dental floss under the rings.

You're right on that count...
2 soapy solution soaks, 3 clean warm water soaks, and 3 "sacrificial" (see note 2) tanks of e-liquid and it's just now starting to taste good...

Note 2 - Sacrificial E-liquid:
Left over juice that I used to like but lost interest. Usually been hanging around for a while and "well steeped". Only kept because I know what it "used" to taste like :)

Leaking solved! :D
Both my tobecos didn't leak at all for the first few days, then started seeping at the air holes & where the JC ring meets the air hole ring. Progressively got worse.. to the point I couldn't use them without a paper towel wiping it down every other vape. Laying it down on it side was unthinkable.

Assumed it was the o-rings.... one of the tobeco's even came with a missing o-ring where (where the top flared cap meets the glass).

Teardown, cleaning, & close inspection this morn - found screw #9 holding the JC on was slightly loose.

Now tightened, takes care of the slight wobble it always had ....... and no more seeping! Happy trails again :vapor:

Change out how? No spares with the Tobeco...

Is there a good source for replacement parts? I'm particularly interested in having a spare glass tank section, that puppy's really fragile looking...

O-rings is where I got mine. 12mm x 1.5mm seems to be a better fit for 16. 18 is 10mm x 1.5mm. I don't think there's an issue with 18, it might just be condensation in the chamber.

I ordered a 5pk of glass from FT. A day later, they have a 10pk for a buck more and it comes with a case

Who sells the glass with themes on them? Someone here has one.

Looks like FT has the black Infinite now.

Infinite Kayfun V4 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer

The regular Infinite seems to be getting good reviews. But I am really surprised that Infinite is using the same SvoёMesto knock-off box as the RobbotTech and a few others are using. They usually use their own labeled box. Makes me start to think that several of these are all built on the same assembly line.

Yeah, I agree. Infinite usually does sell products they don't actually make, so much so that I don't know if they actually manufacture anything. A lot of their stuff is done by SXK with plain-ish black gift boxes. I too find it surprising they sourced a KF4 clone with a SvoëMesto style box.
