Grin. Turns out my FT A Had a missing Oring right under the juice deck (#18)

Anyways, built that girl up. On my 100vg juice, twisted 30ga Ni200, 7/64 bit, initial reading at 0.21 ohm

The juice control section is seriously pissing me off!! I've already dumped 2 tanks trying to get this thing sorted!! Only managed to get the deck out by itself without dumping it ONCE.. My juice control seems stuck open now, no matter how far I turn it either way. Its vaping fine now but man its way too complicated, my KFL is still doing a better and easier job!!

Tightening the 510 screw locks up liquid control, and/or tightening nut # 9 as tight as you can get it locks up the liquid control, #9 has to be as tight as possible or it will just get looser over time among other things (poor ground) Then this shim might be for you. I think there's more of them that need it than people realize, its the only viable fix other than thinning ring #7 and that's going to make it pretty thin in some cases.

I didn't try to make it pretty, it just needs to stay centered and take up space, it's 9 thousands of an inch.

Coincidentally... Everything was perfect til I took out the 510 to adjust the airflow.. I'll go check that again..

Make sure the air flow screw is in as much as you can get it. A friend of mine had a problem with his FT one. The screw was out too far and was stopping the deck from closing.

No I even tried taking a pair of pliers to it with no luck. I can't even grab the nut because of the insulator or whatever it is goes all the way around it and to the top of the nut.

Screw the 510 screw into the nut that the 510 normally screws into but screw it in from the opposite side and pull out the nut. Then through the hole where the 510 goes use a small blunt shaft and push out the insulator, might have to go from side to side as its coming out. Under that is #9 screw.
(pliers are scary sounding)

I just noticed that with the juice control closed, the entire Kayfun is pretty wobbly... Anyone else have that problem?
Mine wobbles when its closed.. I think I'm just gonna put the airflow screw back to where it was cause it kept everything tighter.. Even though the airflow was like the middle hole on my Magma haha..

Hmm, yesterday I backed out my airscrew to make the electrical connection instead of the spring, and finally got my jc working.

The jc problem on mine seems to be due to the chimney stem being a hair off. Very careful reassembly got it in the right spot.

So hopefully replacing the o rings solves the minor leak (think #16 is the problem), and it will be good to go.

I'm not sure why it's wobbling. The deck should be pressing against the holes on the tank... I'm so confused. Hopefully the Tobeco version won't have this problem.

I just picked one of these up on Evilbay

I've rebuilt coil heads for Kangers and Nautys, and have an RBA for my eGrip. But this was my first rebuildable tank. A couple notes

-Watch the Youtube "how to" video BEFORE trying to figure out the new toy
-If something goes wrong, leave it sit until you have time to fix it
-don't play with new toy while trying to get ready to go back to work
-don't play with new toy while seriously sleep deprived

;)
