Will the #16 o-ring be the correct size or will it be too small again? I'd love to pick that up if it comes with the correct sizes and works with the Tobeco.

I think $10 shipped gets you like 50 o-rings for the Kayfun from the o-ring store so I'm probably going to do that since I don't want more screwdrivers and prewicked coils.

About $6 total here
Metric Buna O-rings 12 x 1.5mm Price for 50 pcs - Orings and More
I'd go with 12's
I guess you mean for the whole set though.

Well after solving my issue with the white insulators (thanks dwcraig1 once again for the help) i cant get this thing to wick, its odd - one second its fine and then it will be dry, only thing that seems to solve it for a few tokes is remove the drip tip adapter piece and screw it back down. I did notice on mine one of the flat parts wasnt finished correctly and wasnt flat like the other side, so i corrected that aswell but other than that im now lost as to why it seems to be locked in pressure.

The v4 seems to be more picky with its wick. My first wick was too short, barely touching the juice deck and I was getting dry hits. I made them a bit longer, brushing the juice deck and that seemed to work great. Just becareful not to block the holes with your wick.

Anyone got a fix for the ehpro top cap?

Talk to your vendor, they should be getting the updated top nut from Ehpro.

Look here for burrs at the bottom of the 4 holes on the deck, I found quite a bit of burrs on one of mine. Note the red arrow.

Also check the holes closely in #26.
Is the juice heavy VG?
If all I've mentioned is OK try making your wicks just a bit longer, make sure the ends are on the deck.

Cheers dwcraig, ive checked all of them, holes in the chamber are good, but the ones you pictured are odd, they have holes but there is no groove leading to the next ledge, so guessing a bit of a restriction with juice flowing up the holes, gonna have to try and drill them but i only have HSS bits and with a drill bit too small ill probably snap them with a normal hand drill - How did you remove the burrs, the gap is so small i cant fit any tool in there to remove them.

Can't do that unfortunately, I never actually paid for it, it was sent by mistake [emoji1]. Is there another way to fill the ehpro v4? and would the FT top cap fit do you think, same threading?

....and which way is it to close the airflow? Sorry for all the questions but I'm snowed under at work and haven't got time to go through reviews/forums etc!

*edit* I've got a bell cap so I suppose I can top fill with that in the mean time!

You are right I have built a pretty good collection of Orings from them for everything I have and some stuff I don't :) But the beauty of these are the assorted other goodies that the cat likes to bat of the build table into oblivion!

Clockwise.

I thought if one used the bell cap that the only way to fill it was from the bottom through one of the chimney feed holes.

The FT top nut should fit as most of these clones are 1:1 or very close, including threading. You could also try grinding the sides of the threads.

PBusardo explained it best. Unscrew (counter-clockwise) the JC to close, then unscrew the top nut to fill. Screw (clockwise) on the top nut and then screw on the JC to open.

Since I have the corrected top cap on the way from EHPro, I decided to go ahead and build my Kayfun v4 and just use a workaround for filling. Man this thing vapes nice. Great flavor and IMO the perfect amount of airflow. Did a 9 wrap of 26g on a 2.4 for a 1.2 ohm coil. I usually use 28g in my RTA's but decided to try something different.

Only bad thing is even after an alcohol soak, a Dawn soak and scrub I am still getting a taste of machine oil. Guess I will break it down and use some Simple Green

I'm sure you can fill down the side of the chimney and then seal with wide bore drip tip. I'm sure I read it somewhere and that Todd mentioned it. Haven't been following any kayfun threads as I wasn't interested in it. But seeing as that its free. . [emoji122]
