I would like to use it with the metal tank section but I just don't think I could stand not seeing my liquid level.

Yeah, I hate waiting on a dry hit to know I need to juice up. Maybe they could put a warning chime in it like my dang truck that starts annoying me about fueling up at 1/3 tank!

It looks like most of us like the glass tank set up. I might try the poly one some day.

My first one came with a broken glass section so I had to run it with the PC tank for a couple of weeks while the replacement shipped. I wasn't too crazy about it. I also like that I can use any juice now w/o fear of cracking the tank. I've gone thru 4 PC tanks on my KFL+'s and a few center sections too because of certain juices.

I tried for a tank but got a burnt hit when it was empty. I could probably do it on my rDNA40 but I like seeing how much juice I have in there.

Honestly having a stable glass option is probably my favorite feature of the kf4.

Yes, it's a huge plus. That and easy top filling are the main reasons I'm starting to swap over from KFL+'s.

This is a fantastic idea.

I should've checked my mail before posting this. My FC version came today. I figured I'd post a pic of how I broke it down for cleaning.

This was far dirtier than either the FT "A" or Tobeco. The water in the bowl I washed it in turned grey. There was also some metal shavings I had to clean out too. I noticed the JC was hard to turn when the 510 pin was screwed tight. My FT "A" was a bit loose (wobbled when JC was closed) so I swapped some parts and both work smoothly now with no wobble.

Nice collection there, KTM.

What an informative (and lengthy) thread. I just purchased the eCigar variant and so far I'm enjoying it to the point of looking at the black one.
I'm curious to the preferred manufacturer is right now.
Kayfun v4 Rebuildable Atomizer Clone. **IN STOCK**
EHPro Kayfun V4 (Fixed)
or something else.

Thanks much.

Tobeco seems to be the best one. I have ones from FT and FC and the Tobeco is better than both. The FC is dirty but seems to be working great. The FT "A" needed a new #16 o-ring and the base was a bit wobbly when the JC was open but I swaped parts with the FC and both work great now.

Most people seem happy with the Tobeco clone, I'd go with that one but the EHpro that I have is fine except the top nut that is now fixed.

Ehpro has the best KFL+ out so a lot of people were going by that reputation. I have 2 of them and they're great but haven't seen any use since I got the v4's. I have one more coming (silver Tobeco) so I think I'm set for now :D

Ok I admit I am still new to vaping, but what is the advantage to modifying a pretty damn good working RTA to only being able to take a few puffs before having to squonk it (can you say that in mixed company?). With the advances in tank attys it kinda seems like the difference between burst mode and full auto!

Yeah, I agree. Infinite usually does sell products they don't actually make, so much so that I don't know if they actually manufacture anything. A lot of their stuff is done by SXK with plain-ish black gift boxes. I too find it surprising they sourced a KF4 clone with a SvoëMesto style box.

My Infinite KFL+ v2 came in a Svoemesto box. I'm kinda shocked the KF4 did, Infinite started dropping the logos on a lot of their RDAs, and the Magma was even renamed the Lava after Paradigm threatened em. Mine came in an Infinite CLT box..

I'm glad I didn't have my #1 with me today at work. Was vaping while collecting shopping carts, stuck the Vamo in an apron pocket, gee found out there's a hole in it! Vamo hit the asphalt, the KF got some dings. My glass would've died but I've been using my #2 all stainless luckily!

I'll bet the glass would not have made it.

You're right on that count...
2 soapy solution soaks, 3 clean warm water soaks, and 3 "sacrificial" (see note 2) tanks of e-liquid and it's just now starting to taste good...

Note 2 - Sacrificial E-liquid:
Left over juice that I used to like but lost interest. Usually been hanging around for a while and "well steeped". Only kept because I know what it "used" to taste like :)

Pretty much what I did. Dawn soapy soak and scrub > 50% alcohol dunk > rinse. Oily taste. Boiling water soak > 91% alcohol soak > rinse. Then several tanks of a strong "used to be my favorite" juice that I have almost 100ml left of. Taste is finally fading.
