My KGOtech from Desire. Cleaned it with alcohol then soap , lubed the o-rings with vaseline. re-assembled it . It is working nicely , no leaks, I am using the glass section.

I just want to say thanks to everyone here.
Was starting to get frustrated with the tobeco kayfun v4 leaking, even thought about changing to a different rta but now that the leak is fixed, I love it.
I put two wraps of dental floss under o-ring #16 and it has yet to leak. Be careful when screwing back the juice control, it does tend to pinch the oring so i'll screw it on a little, back it off, push the oring in and screw it in some more. Will probably replace the oring with a thicker one but just wish there were cheaper alternatives opposed to paying $5 in shipping for them.

Currently running a .65 ohm build. 6 wraps of 26 gauge kanthal around a 5/64th drill bit.
I tried to do a .4 ohm but got dry hits.

Just wished there were more airflow. Can't get myself to cough up $12 for the subohm kit when I could buy a big dripper for that price.

I dont know if it's ok to post vendor links but I was able to find my tobeco clone for $22 shipped from the US.

FT has a 50 pack of 12 x 1.5 o-rings for a little over $2 shipped. Not sure how good they are, but they're cheap.

Had my V4 for a week or so now, not really getting it with this atty. the build quality is amazing, as is the design. I love the juice control and different aspects of this atty, it's amazingly innovative. However, just not getting the flavour. Tried all kinds of single and dual coils, different resistances, wick materials and builds, and I'm not even close to my erlkonigins and egrips for flavour. Especially the egrip.

Just don't think this one is for me.

I have to agree. While I like the slight bit more of airflow over the KFL, I really don't see a difference in flavor. I am keeping this one for an on-the-go tank for easy fill. But don't think I will get any more.

Another satisfied Tobeco owner here. My Brother-in-law bought each of us one, we built on them last night.

28ga Kanthal, 8-9 3mm wraps, 1.8 ohm
wicked with rayon. Air flow control wide open, juice wide open. No leaking, gurgling, or dry hits. I do prefer the wide bore drip tip from my Hcigar Magma.

Tested on Nemesis, SMPL, Vamo v5 (15W), MVP (11W).

We took them apart and soaked them in Vodka for 1/2 hour, not much machine oil but you never know. The exploded diagram helped a lot with reassembly.

AMod clone update. ORing 16 wasn't the cause of leakage. The o ring on the fl port on top was out of place.

Reset that and the airhole leaks stopped, now i just have to fix the seeaping from the bottom tank section on the chimney.

I get small juice build up from where the bottom tank meets the chimney, I'm headed to the plumbing store to see if a replacement will solve it.

So out of the blue, and even with my corrected top cap, I am getting a little flooding and gurgling after filling. As well as a little seeping from the air holes. Didn't do it on my first two tanks on this build. Just started doing it after my last fill and it does clear up after 4-5 puffs. What is the first thing I need to take a look at???

Maybe check every oring??? Might have one messing you up somewhere. Also check the one that seals the top of the chimney.

Common for one to fail while in use??? Like I said it was fine for the first few fills after my last clean and rewick. Just out of the blue after a fill I got the gurgle and seep.

Your wick could cause that not enough?

I have gotten some occasional minor seeping after a fill and gurgles sometimes. Quick wipe with a tissue and all is well. Not enough of an issue to take it apart again.

If it continues to weep while your using then you may have nicked #7 O-ring.

So I got in and assembled my hcigar clone and let me say this is above and beyond the best clone I have seen yet. They went all out and got all the TINY details from the original that the others have left out. They got the chamfered edges on the juice holes on the deck, fully machine engraved vs. laser engraved logos, perfectly cut linework details, and the correct tolerence for the juice control. Not to forget it is 316SS! Will post up some pics as soon as I re wick it after a couple tanks, I did have to settle for the logo version though as the supplier was totally sold out of the logoless one. Some nice extras with the hcigar clone too aside from the tank options; full set of o-rings with some doubles, a whole extra set of 4 deck screws, a couple nice 26ga coils (although regular not kayfun coils), a keychain screwdriver, and a pad of Japanese organic cotton. :)

Only flaw was it had the unpolished edge glass tank unlike the tobeco but it made up for it with a really nice M tank. Couple of SS shavings I had to poke out from the chimney holes but that's it. Overall if you are going to buy a "premium clone" this is the one to get for sure, def the closest to 1:1 you are gonna get and worth it for the 316SS alone. Honestly if you are gonna get any other clone it should just be the tobeco because aside from the hcigar it is the nicest one out. Unlike ehpro this go around, hcigar actually took their time to get it right rather than rushing them out the door. Shame though as they were totally beat to market and haven't been picked up by many retailers due to being out later than the other clones.

Doesn't seep at all after it clears up. But I will take a look at #7 when I take it apart next time.

LOL who would have thought that we would be referring to RTA parts by a number instead of a name.

Dang! I lost faith in hcigar didn't think they'd ever make one. I should've waited and got theirs, their 3.1s were so good.

Few questions,
Does the washer come out, unlike the ehpro version?
Have you found a black version?
And how much did you pay?
