Common for one to fail while in use??? Like I said it was fine for the first few fills after my last clean and rewick. Just out of the blue after a fill I got the gurgle and seep.
2 days ago I picked my Tobeco up in the car and the juice control was leaking. No clue why, it was fine all morning. Cleaned it up and after that, it behaved the rest of the day.. Odd but its so far been a one time thing..

Dang! I lost faith in hcigar didn't think they'd ever make one. I should've waited and got theirs, their 3.1s were so good.

Few questions,
Does the washer come out, unlike the ehpro version?
Have you found a black version?
And how much did you pay?

Hey mikey, I got my EHPro in black today and broke it down completely except for pulling the contacts and insulator off the deck. It came apart completely with no problem and I am planning on building it tonight.

All the threading was super smooth and the deck (juice control) worked perfectly.

I looked back in the thread and could see what the problem was with yours but I probably missed it.

I have gotten some occasional minor seeping after a fill and gurgles sometimes. Quick wipe with a tissue and all is well. Not enough of an issue to take it apart again.

If it continues to weep while your using then you may have nicked #7 O-ring.

While #7 is listed as a sealing ring it is being used as a bearing so it should be called a bearing ring. I can't imagine it ever causing any leakage. This is the ring that some are making thinner when their juice control is too tight and is probably the way to go as long as one doesn't make it too thin. A shim can be used if more clearance is needed than thinning this ring can provide. So then # 16 and # 18 o-rings are the ones to be checking as they slide up and down when juice control is turned so they get some wear and tear.

So you were able to get the bottom base broken down on your EHPro??? I could not get mine apart no matter what I tried. Also did you get a good top cap/drip tip adapter with yours. One with the flat sides???

So out of the blue, and even with my corrected top cap, I am getting a little flooding and gurgling after filling. As well as a little seeping from the air holes. Didn't do it on my first two tanks on this build. Just started doing it after my last fill and it does clear up after 4-5 puffs. What is the first thing I need to take a look at???

Could be a wicking issue. I thought mine was an O-Ring issue till I re-wicked and added more cotton.

Try opening it up and just add a tiny bit more cotton to fill the inner chimney. Don't "pack it in", just add enough to fill any voids and soak up any excess juice that may be making it up to the air hole.

It's damn near perfect and it broke down all the way. The only thing that I didn't take a part was the positive block and insulator. The Juice control is silky smooth.

All that said, just got it and first build but it's vaping great, original O-rings and no leaks. And yes they shipped it with the updated nut. It looks like EHPro got aggressive with the fix.

And Garemlin check your deck o-ring. I started getting a random leak on my FT and the o-ring had a small slice in it. Replaced it and it's solid again.

I was asking the hcigar one. However is the ehpro does breakdown completely I will take it into consideration.

My issue is with ORing 27 I believe. I get slow seepage from the seam between the chimney and bottom tank section (glass tank assembly). I tried the spare ORing and beginning to think its just the red orings used on the black AMod clone.

Hit the o-ring store mikey, the red ones suck. The Buna 70 will fix it. They have good pricing and quick shipping

Check the glass to make sure it's "square" on it's ends and has no chips. Also check in the groove that o-ring sits in for something to keep it from seating.
Probably though the o-ring is at fault, change it.

For those of you that are finding juice under your deck don't jump too quick to replace the o-ring on the skirt of the deck. On mine it was actually the filler cap o-ring leaking allowing it to flood. With so much room below the build deck when the V4 floods it doesn't gurgle right away since the juice can drain out of the center pin into the base. The brighter red o-rings on the unknown clone I have are a soft silicon that doesn't hold up long at all. I just replaced the filler cap o-ring with a spare drip tip o-ring and it seals much better.

I really hope so, because I'm on the verge of just throwing this dam thing (AMod) away. 16 and 27 orings leak so bad. I filled the tank with water, closed the juice flow, and covered the top of the chimney and was able to blow right through from the airholes through the tank. It had the weakest seal.

EDIT:
Got sarcastic, showed my friend how I can drink water through the tank whether the LFC is open or closed. It has bottom filling too! I just put the base in the water and suck and the tank fills right up. I really hope either the replacement seals work, or the HCigar clone is better.

EDIT2:
Day just got even better, my glass section shattered. :,(

I'm starting to think one of the metal pieces is malformed, all my seals are fine. Back to my 3.1 for now sadly.
