Vaportek is finally shipping the spare parts kit I ordered last week, should have ordered the 4S kit too, but it was pre-order, and I thought I was buying an in stock item (which it turns out I wasn't).

I got my shipping notice this morning.

For those of you that are finding juice under your deck don't jump too quick to replace the o-ring on the skirt of the deck. On mine it was actually the filler cap o-ring leaking allowing it to flood. With so much room below the build deck when the V4 floods it doesn't gurgle right away since the juice can drain out of the center pin into the base. The brighter red o-rings on the unknown clone I have are a soft silicon that doesn't hold up long at all. I just replaced the filler cap o-ring with a spare drip tip o-ring and it seals much better.

You might be on to something there. I did notice when I took my deck out with a full tank that I got some leaking when it was turned upside down.

It's damn near perfect and it broke down all the way. The only thing that I didn't take a part was the positive block and insulator. The Juice control is silky smooth.

All that said, just got it and first build but it's vaping great, original O-rings and no leaks. And yes they shipped it with the updated nut. It looks like EHPro got aggressive with the fix.

And Garemlin check your deck o-ring. I started getting a random leak on my FT and the o-ring had a small slice in it. Replaced it and it's solid again.

That sucks. I could not get the base, #2 - #11 on the diagram, disassembled no matter what I tried. Tried removing #2 with no luck. Tried popping out #10 and #11 with no luck either. Didn't want to damage it.

For people with perfectly working kayfuns. If you open and close the LFC with the tank up right, do you get some airhole dribble? Is this to be expected?

I haven't seen any dribbling. I think it would be an improperly sealing #16 o ring as it's not preventing juice from getting past the build deck to the lower juice well and out the air holes.

I hope this pic is upright.... v4 on chana / .6 28g twisted coil @ 22w. I have rebuilt this v4 a few times, took my s4 kit out. my own mod'd air flow pin is better. Delrin drip tip from my garage. The Mutant n RDA combo still beats the v4, but not by much. IMG_20150128_205843.jpg
My OCD has had me remove the 23mm tank a few times now, just cant get into it yet.

I really hope so, because I'm on the verge of just throwing this dam thing (AMod) away. 16 and 27 orings leak so bad. I filled the tank with water, closed the juice flow, and covered the top of the chimney and was able to blow right through from the airholes through the tank. It had the weakest seal.

    EDIT:
Got sarcastic, showed my friend how I can drink water through the tank whether the LFC is open or closed. It has bottom filling too! I just put the base in the water and suck and the tank fills right up. I really hope either the replacement seals work, or the HCigar clone is better.

    EDIT2:
Day just got even better, my glass section shattered. :,(

I'm starting to think one of the metal pieces is malformed, all my seals are fine. Back to my 3.1 for now sadly.

Wow. (27) is a new one. Maybe isolated to your specific v4? Does the Amod come with spares? I would try replacing those o-rings.

Water is much thinner than juice but it shouldn't leak much if at all.

My glass section was shattered in transit. FT was good with replacement but I ordered 5 more for spares.

Is it possible to return the atomizer? Sounds like you have it much worse than my FT version which gave me the most problems but still works great.

I did before I replaced (16). Now all 4 of mine work great.

I always open or close mine upside down. I read it somewhere that it was the correct way so I just do it. No leak at all and it stays dry in there.

I read someone suggested that but I never needed to.

I have filled mine both ways no problems or leaks upside down or up :) I have ran 2 oz's of juice though mine now still works flawless
Not bad for a 22.00 clone :) I'm still waiting on 3 more :) a Tobeco an Infinite and another FT A version hope there all as good as My FT version A :)

That's what I do. It's just for piece of mind. Probably not necessary with a properly functioning K4 but it's not going to hurt anything either way.

For some reason my cinnamon graham custard juice tastes really gross in the K4. I need to vape through this tank so I can put something else in.

Had my three for a couple weeks. Open and close with it upright every time I fill them. No leakage whatsoever. I have the Tobeco clones. I am very happy with them.

Just got my HCigar logo-less clone. The threads are smooth, the machining is good. The glass section has little chips on both sides though. Will give it a bath and will run it with the pmma tank. Let's see if it leaks or gives dry hits or whatever. But by the first look of things - it's pretty good. Well worth the premium and the fact that there's no logo really makes me happy :)

I ordered a 5pk of glass center sections from FT and the edges are flamed smooth.
