I can only speak to what I see in front of me, and that's a #7 that's
0.055" thick- and note that this is actually
thicker than my first Tobeco (the first one was 0.044", I had to take it down to 0.028"). This tells me most likely the cavity has been machined considerably deeper than my first one. And unless the
juice control is fully opened- turned against the stop w/some amount of force- the atty will rock due to the excessive clearance. And it leaks when laid on its side.
Could be the luck of the draw but I'd be interested in hearing if anyone else's has the looseness I'm seeing. The leaking comes as no big surprise.
