Thats exactly right , i have been rethinking who is the most responsible and there is just no getting around that" KTM rider" is also responsible and must be dealt with.

There is just one way to deal with this of course , we start by kidnapping Mr. KTM and commence a very thorough and severe pummeling about the face and head area .

If he doesn't scream out "Ok , i admit i am responsible" then we must move to total dismemberment and complete disposal somewhere that we all find suitable for this to take place.

Hopefully we can get him to break with the above solution but if he's defiant i'm afraid we will have to get tough.
Well, I could forgive him, but only if he sends me one of his Tobeco Kayfun V4's.[emoji6] [emoji1] [emoji2] [emoji56]

I noticed a few of you guys are doing 3mm coils. I'm so used to the small hole of the kayfun lite. Is that the best size for this tank or 3/32? (2.4mm). I was using 5/64th on the lite but I know that's way to small of a coil for this tank.
I use 3mm for ni200 to get higher ohms with 28g and it also helps with the bigger wick. I still use 2.5mm for kanthal but I've switched almost entirely to DNA40's so I don't really use kanthal anymore.

I bought a Tobeco Kayfun 4 clone in February for $24.99. That one works, but the machine oil smell and taste made it unusable. I had to buy an ultrasonic cleaner to get it working and even now, I think I still taste machine oil. And, it leaks. What's the deal with the leaking o-ring to replace? #6 and #16? Maybe I'll give the dental floss trick a shot.

Bought two more with this deal from VaporRange, can't go wrong for less than $10 each. I'm hoping these are slightly better made but if not, no big deal. They're cheap.

#16 is the first suspect. Consider replacing oversized - 12 x 1.5.

Tobeco clone arrived yesterday and Kbox came today. Disassembled Kayfun completely and let it soak in water overnight while waiting on the Kbox and I didn't really notice any machine oil while taking it apart -- maybe a few small burrs on the threading that I could feel with my fingertips but nothing serious. Gave it another rinse before building my first coil on it, details below.

Initial impression is great, especially considering the price I paid ($10); more parts compared to the predecessors but everything is fitting properly.

First build is twisted 27g x 30g (first time trying this combo too), 2mm inside diameter, 9 wraps coming to 1.11Ω.

Hitting it at 13 watts on the Kbox and I'm getting just a little warmth, which is perfect for me. Vapor production with 50/50 juice is decent, flavor is better than decent. I haven't even looked at how the airflow control works yet, but I'll get to it.

I suppose I should have reinstalled the remaining screws before putting it back together, took them out to make building easier.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I haven't messed with the airflow either , reason is i will screw it up and empty all my juice on my lap (not a good thing imo) . Great idea taking out those two screws by the way .

Glass tank broke when it came into contact with concrete floor , they just don't build stuff like they used to . All in all i love it but when i first got it i took the whole thing apart and just stared at all the parts for a good 10 min , mind boggling .

Took me about thirteen tries to figure out how to reassemble . No leaks and the flavor is what i expect from a Kayfun so i'm very pleased , as someone mentioned , airflow is much more open than the older ones and thats a good thing as far as i'm concerned .

My $10.00 Tobacco left the USPS hub, a few hours away, at 11:43 this morning. It should be in my mailbox tomorrow. Will give it a nice warm bath, let it dry out and pack it back up until I need it. The 2 I have in rotation are working fine. Then I'll wait for the one from KTMrider to get here. [emoji56] Although it might be a long wait.

I hope you're a patient man :p

The Fasttech SKUs seem to be 1536606 and 1536607. I think I'll order both and share with people who need them.
I wouldn't trust o-rings from FT. I got mine from O-rings I placed 2 orders from them. They have decent prices and I received them less than a week from ordering.
