This is sooooo true and needed to be said. These icessant Provari people are worse than any Apple fanboys.

Everyone knows that the Provari is probably the finest PV's made. The antagonism from everyone against Provari comes from having to constantly have it put in your face in way too many threads.

i didn't read every post and don't plan on it either

what strikes me funny is that i didn't see any of the "wattage" fanboys shoving wattage mods down the OP's throat like they would normally do !!

they are worse then any provari or gg owner ever thought of being !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The whole proscary craze probably originated from reading the vapegirl webpage. I know that I was close to buying one. Because I didn't know that there were options, until I found this site.

Many reviewers are paid to push a product, and the fact that she doesn't even mention readily available mods with bottom feed juice delivery is weak. So most noobs (including myself) walk around thinking that the proscary is the best nicotine delivery system out there.

Until we found ECF. And researched.

I find that there are those that must think that their mod makes them special. Got news for ya, it's just a glorified battery with I'm guessing a $10 chip inside, and a metal shell (that reminds me of a metal sonic care). Most smokers spent more on a month worth of cigs than the cost of one. And we threw those away when we finished smoking them.

For me, it's about what my mod doesn't say about me that I like. It doesn't say that I must carry around spare bottles of juice, spare cartos, spare vivi this or that heads, load some cumbersome external tank and look like a tool hitting some blinking "fan size" baseball bat to obtain my nic fix.

You know, I have a provari (this is some sort of check in thread...right?). I have recently not used it much because I really like the VW I got with my zmax. Have you tried VW? You should!

I have been reading along..deff interesting and a fun thread...I always recommend a Provari for anyone who is starting off, because If they make the mistakes I made they will be spending $$$$ before they realize they should have went with a provari. I also dont understand how smokers here in NE "$8.75 for a pack of cigs" can say it is too expensive..thats 20 days for a pack of day smoker, we offer the Provari because we know it will be a good, strong, long lasting PV..

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. There are options sure, but those options have all come along in the last 6 months to a year. There was hardly anything that could come close to the Provari, with it's capabilities and it's consistencies before that point. Another thing that you have to remember, the Provari is built like a tank and it's another of it's selling features. It's almost impossible to destroy it with regular usage.

Sure, there are devices out there now that make it look very one dimensional but looking at it from a newbies eyes do not do it justice.

Keep the conversation fair and don't knock something just for the sake of doing it.

My dad had a bad habit of buying on the cheap and having to replace it a short time later. Now sometimes that is a must but most times if you wait a bit and buy a better product it will outlast several of the cheaper ones. Not to mention the waist of material and more junk in the landfill. The Provari is a quality product with a 1 year warranty and the option of another year extender. It also uses replacable batteries and is built like an armored vehicle. Much better topics to Rant on out there like all the crappy products and the mine filed of some manufactures turning out junk and the Name copying and Clone wars.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. I didn't get a Provari because it was just too expensive for something I was not sure would work. I still don't own a Provari and am still with my original setup. The ONLY thing I changed is getting a tank to upgrade from the stupid Cartridges that came with my kit. I have 3 Twists. They are PERFECT for me. Maybe you needed the Provari. Not everyone does. Not everyone can afford one. I haven't paid that much for cigarettes and I have seen people that have paid way less than I. Some people are actually spending way more money vaping than they did for their cigs. Either by rolling their own, or getting them from a reservation or other ways.

Just because this was your experience, doesn't mean that it is everyone's experience. There are many price levels and many PV choices to fit those price levels. The Provari is a great PV, so is the Twist and others. If you really want to help a newbie, steer them to multiple choices that are good. Give them solid options and let them make the choice. If you really want to help them, make a list of options. If you want to throw the Provari in there, do so by all means, as long as you also let them know that there are other good options that are not as costly.

At least you won't sound like they would be an idiot if they don't jump right into the Provari ring. I'm sure that is not your intention, right?

Like Classwife said, [Quote Classwife: Sure - we want to guide them to something that we know is better...but they are not to that point yet...at the beginning, most are nervous and self conscious .
E-cigs are overwhelming enough for some...it is their desires that need to be met...not yours. Quote]

I bought a provari and now I'm selling it. first off I need the money, but more to the point of this discussion;
There are now plenty of devices out there that frankly blow the provari out of the water at a lower price point. VW is becoming the norm, VRMS makes the "ohay teh provari is teh most consistents" comments obsolete, the stainless vmax is as durable as the provari and almost 1/2 the price. The vamo provides a superior vaping experence for under $50! And for those who arent comfortable putting a big metal pipe to their faces, VV ego devices can be had for $20!
For those of you that still want a Provari, buy a Provari. For everyone else, don't feel for a second that you'll be missing out on anything because you don't want or can't afford one. Technology marches on and Moores law can be applied here too
