3 of my attys resistance have gone up to 4.5 and don't work any more is there anything I can do or are my attys toast? Please help thank you
Dan

Can't really tell without knowing which atomizers but anything other than an HV atty is likely toast. You might try soaking them in 151 vodka or everclear and try them but most likely they're gone.

Kent is almost certainly right.

However, your situation has piqued my curiosity. I wonder whether they would work on an HV mod? I don't currently have one, but when I did, I found that sometimes my tired old attys would revive on it. Also, "HV" atomizers are deliberately designed at 4.5 ohms for the purpose of using at 6V. Hmm.

But no, don't hold your breath. If you have an HV mod (or know someone who does), you might want to try it. Otherwise, introduce those attys to your wastebasket.

Good point. I've revived some low performing regular 510's on a 5 volt - carefully....
