Waaaat!!! You don't have one on the way already? I assumed you would have a box of them just chilling on the vape table or something :)
Truth be told - I never intended buying one ;) This'd've been my first kayfun gone unpurchased. Bronze knows about it. There are a few reasons to it. But better not discussed.
I thought they rewarded you with one?
Yes, I received a msg from SM. But no further info on it yet.

Try as I might, I cannot get the juice control to function.

When I try to turn it, the top cap unscrews from the tank.

The juice control threading is tighter than a fat guy in a little coat!

Yes, I've lubed all O-rings with juice...including taking off the bottom plate/510 connection, and lightly lubing the O-ring there.

You really need to tighten the topcap, maybe even more you would think comfortable for the glass.

Wonder if it's like the mini where some are too tight. I had that issue with my mini and Swapped one of the spare o-rings in and it's been absolutely picture perfect since.

Hmmmmm. Maybe once you get it unstuck you should give it a real good workout...turning back and forth over and over to loosen up what ever is stuck.

I can't really tell if it's the O-ring...
The threads work very well.
I'll try swapping an O-ring, or both O-rings that go under the chimney, and see if that helps.
Keep us posted cuz if this has happened to you it is bound to happen to others.

Surely will.

I may not be a Jedi level master of all things Vape, but I wasn't born yesterday either!

That being said, I'm 100% sure this is pilot error for now.

Got home too late from work to do much more than open the package, lube everything, and try to play with juice control.

Tonight, I'm going to swap those lower O-rings, and actually build on the device.

@Baseman, thanks for the tip on the top cap. Definitely scary trying to crank down on glass, but I'll give it a shot.

P.S. THIS is why they made the KAYFUN v4 with reverse threading for the juice control...but everyone complained about it being "backwards"...so now they've made it forward threading, and you run the risk of unscrewing your top cap when you utilize the juice control.
For shame, people! You didn't recognize brilliance when you had it!
:sarcasm: :kinda:

HB. I write this with man love...really? Using e juice to lube o rings. Think logically. What happens to this juice over time exposed to gradual heat and being compressed? Use Vaseline. Buy a small tub for £1.20ish and use cotton buds to apply a good layer. Saw a new vaping friend open a Squape dream and threw a build into it and then complained that my 2 day old wicked steamcrave supreme tasted better. After taking my hands off his neck, took the tank apart, alcohol bathed it. Dry cleaned the tank. Put it together with the same type of 32G claptons he likes at 0.9 ohms and he could taste how good the tank was. Vaseline. O rings. Good. Juice o rings no nice.

My solution for O ring lubrication and protection is to use a lubricant with the lowest possible vapor pressure (very little evaporation at any temperature) and very high oxidation resistance. For me Dow Corning Vacuum O Ring Lubricant ("Grease")has been the best solution.

That stuff is very cheap and one tube will last 34 lifetimes for our application. :)
The tiniest bit on a Q Tip will do ya.
