They seem to disappear.I had one for a couple months, Best kayfun I've ever had, however, I lost mine and the Provai it was on by it dropping out of the belt holster while I was in a taxi. Man, did that ever hurt, especially my wallet!
Mine was stolen in a bar in Romania on a business trip. Went to the bathroom, came back - gone. KFL+ on a Sigelei Mini something.
What hit me even worse (apart from the financial disaster): this was my only and first rebuildable back then, only thing I had left on that trip was Protank-like (something with a smaller diameter) clearomizer on a MVP2. Decent mod back then, but more-than-crappy atty :/
Stocking up ever since and never go on a trip without two complete RTA setups .
I never had this tongue thing either, the only weird thing I get occasionally is sometimes after I drink a certain liquid, some juices have a weird taste for a few minutes. I can't recall what drinks do this though. As for going hours or days not really tasting your juice, sounds weird to me.

I've been vaping 70/30 for a long time. I notice with all my Kayfuns the flavor sharpens on the last 10% of each tank.
That black Provari/KFL looks just like the one I lost in a taxi last year. Hey, have you ever been to Thailand? Hmmmm?
Shazam! Having one of those nights where my Dragon's Fire in the KM3 is catapulting me to the ethereal boundaries. It's hitting beyond great! I notice I have more of these with my KM3 than any other tank I've owned. I don't think it is by accident.
You think it's your taste buds or variations in your rewicking? Even after 4 years of rebuilding, I get slight variations in performance when I'm vaping, I don't know if it's the wick, atmosphere, or just my mind playing tricks.

The good news is that the tongue is improving a bit today. Still not back to normal, but improved.

No idea Diver. If you ever figure it out you'll make millions. I find if i quit trying to figure it out I have more time to enjoy it.
I always enjoy my DF. I have never once been bored with it and I've been vaping it for more than 3-1/2 years. But there are also times when it seems all the stars are lined up and it takes it to an even higher level. I hope every vaper has that one flavor that hits on all cylinders. If they don't, then they need to keep looking till they find theirs.

I also just ordered some higher PG from HHV. 70/30 DF and 60/40 Dip.
I've traditionally been 50/50, but I remembered that I started my HHV journey on 60/40. Haha. Why did I change?
I think DF could benefit the most from higher PG, since it's a sweeter tasting liquid in its own skin already.
Can't wait to get em in the mail!

I'm not recommending anything. Just curious why you got two different ratios. Never hurts to experiment like you're doing. And you can ask for extra flavor shots in anything. I notice no difference myself but that's probably because I'm at 70/30. I think extra flavor shots are more noticeable in high VG mixes. They already add more flavor extract in the higher VG blends but some people ask for even more.
