Ok I have been really wanting to ask this and since both @StealthyTX and @Bronze are present it is time.

You both have Achilles, what does the KF3 offer or do better than Achilles?
Flavorwise, I am finding them very close. The advantage of the KM3 for me is that I can see my juice level. That's what it was about drippers that I never liked. I could never see how much juice I had left. The other thing is that while the Achilles and KM3 have similar capacities, I am not refilling my KM3 as much as I was the Achilles. Now some of that may be due to the fact that I wasn't running the Achilles down as far as I do the KM3, but nonetheless I am not filling as much with the KM3. One other notable advantage with the KM3 over my Achilles is the atomizer does not get as hot. I'd go to chaining the Achilles and that dude would get very warm. The KM3 is less severe. Even with plastic drip tips the Achilles was still warm.

Bronze you said the km3 is less severe in heat in a comparison to the dripper, so does your km3 get a little warm?

Oh yeah, to be sure. It's just that the Achilles really warms up if I chain it. It's made of titanium so that might have something to do with it too. I use a two tone drip tip. Delrin on the bottom and titanium on the top to help with the heat. I like the tips so I use them on my KM3 as well.

Oh it just sounded like your dripper gets hot and the km3 doesn't get quite as hot? One thing i notice is that the km3 doesn't even get remotely warm. If it does, I can't feel it. It seems not to change in temp from idle to vaping

My KM3 warms up but it isn't much. Especially compared to my titanium dripper.

Thanks for your thoughts!

I assumed that not being able to see the juice level would be an issue but what I found was I get ample warning that it is time to refill. Ample being probably 20 pulls. I've had a MiniDrip for months, got the optional clear tank, to date I have not used.

Mine gets warm but not hot, I kind of like that actually it's like holding a warm Peterson pipe. :)

I really didn't get much of a taste warning with the Achilles. What really sucked about it is I could not see in that well. Too dark. I often used a flashlight to not only see how much juice was in it but also to make sure I didn't overfill it. Quite truthfully, it's a PITA!!! It's always been one of the bigger negatives of a dripper...not seeing my juice level.

That is a pricey drip tip. Can you return it?

FWIW I am running 1.8 ohm 30 AWG spaced coils with rayon wicking at 7 to 10 watts.
I suspect the rayon is responsible for the ample warning.

Again I appreciate your thoughts and will leave off initiating any further Achilles talk thread drift. :w00t:

Very possible. I am using KGD. And feel free to bring up the Achilles all you want. Or the microdrip for that matter. We're always side-topicing here.

Same here, it only warms up a little if I chain vape it, but mostly it stays cool. My builds are N80 26ga spaced coil, around .8 ohm.
I cannot get the km3 to feel the slightest bit warm, I just took 6 of the biggest consecutive vapes and the temp did not change at all, it just stays the same as if I'm not vaping it. I wonder why ? I'm even vaping at 23 watts. Maybe coil height? Pg/vg ratio of juice, airflow adjustment difference?
