Still like my KF 3.1 over the KFV4.
The KF V3 mini is somewhere down the road for me... I'm content for now - and broke. LOL

I waited as long as I could for k5 but 2 days ago I ordered a k3 mini. Let's see if it is better than k4.

Be interested in your opinion between both.. never had the 4 , but I really prefer the 3 over the kfl for sure

No complains here. Compact form factor, very well made, spring loaded centre pin (copper?), f/w upgradable, supports low resistance, SS in TC, inexpensive. Accurate ohm reading. Recommended.

My kayfun has arrived and after a number fail attempts I finally made a coil it is showing at 1.8 ohms and only lets me vape it at around 4.2 . Any higher I get the error. Going to have more time tomorrow to rebuild.

Also think the coil master kit I bought is a fake going to take back into shop Monday. The coil wrappers have no marking on the back so can't really tell the sizes and except for case none of the equipment says coil master on

Hey, not bad for your first time through lilco! I think you should feel good about your work so far. What diameter were you wrapping on? I'd try to shoot for 1.2 - 1.5 ohms.

With most of those coil kits, the smallest mandrel is 2.0mm. Where did the one you used rank in size? And can you tell me how many wraps that is? looks about 10. Are you using 28ga?

I looked online and it said in the original the smalles one is 1.0 then 1.5, 2.0,2.5 and 3.0 so I used the one in the middle

8 wraps using 28 gauge on a 2.0mm mandrel would yield about 1.2ohms. Doesn't sound right as you say. Try going to the smallest one and keep the same number of wraps.
