Yes that error is normal because of the 15 watt limit of mod... 5v x 5v= 25....now take 25 and divide by 1.3 ohms= 19 watts... 4.4v is about the highest you can goi rebuilt the coil today and did it using the small bit 8 wraps and the coil is now 1.3 ohms.
is it normal for the prover to show E1 when i put up the volts to 5.
also when i hit the fire button there some crackling could that be my wicking?
Pulling the trigger on the KFM3 tomorrow after a trip to the bank.
Speaking of Crackling - Crackberry is definitely on the juice order with the KF3Yes also the crackling has gone.

Nice looking build!OK, good luck. Your coil looks real good though so you have yourself a nice start. You'll get it.
By experience you'd know when the VTF starts to drop. And/or then use the "dip-stick" method. The kayfun mini. I like the look of the steel tank but the only problem I see is how would I know when the tank is empty.

Nice build, Lilco.Pic
Also think the coil master kit I bought is a fake going to take back into shop Monday. The coil wrappers have no marking on the back so can't really tell the sizes and except for case none of the equipment says coil master on
ExactlyLike put a tooth pick all the way in and measure! Like checking oil in a car
You'll also taste the flavor of the juice drop off a couple of hits before the wick starts to burn. The kayfun mini. I like the look of the steel tank but the only problem I see is how would I know when the tank is empty.

Sounds like your off to a fast start!. Just a couple things, the cracking sound is normal but if it's too loud it can be the wicking. Sometimes too little wick can create this and only in time you will know the exact amounts. With rayon, you usually use slightly more then cotton. Cotton swells when saturated while rayon can flop slightly. When using the rayon with the 27g coil, the proper amount should require you to hold the coil with a fingernail while threading as to not damage the coil or keep it from moving. It should have a decent resistance as you install the rayon. Once in, kind of seat the wick by moving back and forth, which kind of creates the rayon to be fluffed at the edges of coil. I then cut wick off about an inch away from coil, I then juice up the wick slightly and kind of press the wick ends over the edge of tank to measure. Once the wick tail lines up with the top of black oring, that's where I cut the end of wick. I then place tails inside the ledge. I find that to be the perfect lenght. Ok I'm off for my first dive!My first rebuild able and am very happy how easy this tank is. So much better vape than my previous tanks.
I'm still a noob at coil building and wicking so will only get better for.
So glad I bought this. Looks slick with the provari mini.

To be more precise, the Provari Mini has an amp limit (not a watt limit). The limit is 3.5 amps. So if you're running a 1.3 ohm coil your amp limit will be reached at 4.55 volts (say 4.5 volts). That happens to give you 15.9 watts. Here is an Ohm's calculator. Simply enter two variables and the calculator returns the remaining variables. Remember, your Provari Mini has a 3.5 amp limit.Yes that error is normal because of the 15 watt limit of mod... 5v x 5v= 25....now take 25 and divide by 1.3 ohms= 19 watts... 4.4v is about the highest you can go

Congratulations. And yes, you're off to a very good start on your building. Faster than most. And the KM3 looks fantastic on those older Provaris. My first rebuild able and am very happy how easy this tank is. So much better vape than my previous tanks.
