Keep trying. Do you have any tools?
Just got it! Duct tape and a wrench :). I'm very proud of myself; it only took 4 tries (and 3 shorts) to trap the legs properly! I think I've got it figured out ... 1.2ohm coil about 1.5mm above the air hole. It's vaping perfectly. Yippee!

I may even try the K5. I'm a glutton for punishment (and DH went offshore fishing in the Outer Banks. I have until 9:00 tonight to get it done.)

Sitting here working from home vapeing on the KMV3. I got a 5 and have been liking it more with better builds/wicking and perhaps just getting used to it. I am going to get the MTL kit once available. What struck me is how perfect, for me, this KMV3 is not fussy at all to build. Does not seem to mind minor variances in wicking, etc. it's just a workhorse. A very flavorful one at that. I'm finally onto what I really like. I need to cull the flock a bit and just stick to what I love. I see a second 3 on the horizon for me.

My first few builds on the K3m were rubbish, but this last one works a charm! Enough so that I no longer want to put it in the vacopalypse box, but rather have been vaping it straight since yesterday. My thoughts:
- Best to have a gorilla or duct tape on hand to disassemble.
- Best to have a new stick of Burt's Beeswax on hand, too!
- The deck, while tiny, isn't so bad to build. With readers. :)
- Wicking is easy after watching Vapediver's vid. Those instructions are idiot proof. As I can attest.
- The flavor this itty bitty atty produces is off the charts good. Better than the KFL+v2 by a mile. Better than a PlasmAir by a NY city block. Better than a Kabuki by two furlongs. Flavors are nuanced, whether high or low VG.
- I wish it held one more ml. At 10mls/day, that's a lot of refilling! S'ok, though. (See previous bullet point)
- I wish glass tanks were readily available, cuz I suspect I'm going to break this one.
- I don't like the DT, and the gorilla wasn't strong enough to get it off.
- I'm glad I have two, and may well buy a third.

Thanks, @Bronze, for introducing me to the wonder of Kayfuns!

Glad that KM3 is working out for you LB. Those things are little gems. There are many fine tanks out there but Svoemesto has always led the way and they are doing the same with the KM3 and K5 (if we can ever get them off their duffs and get those M2L kits released).

If you ever need AW batteries, pick up a couple of these dudes while there. Makes filling the KM3 even easier.

30ml Luer Lock Bottle using the 16 gauge tip...

16g Plastic Luer Lock Needle

Fills your KM3 to the top with one soft squeeze. Presto! There are other sized bottles too. But the 16 gauge tip is perfect for these Kayfun top fills.

I have 2 of those 30 ml bottles and could use a half dozen more. They are perfect! Couldn't remember where I got them from. And I just ordered 2 batteries from him. I like those needle tips too. Another RTD order to place! He's great. Buy 2 batteries and get a free plastic case.

They must like you more than me because I didn't get a free plastic case. :(

I didn't get a case either. I ordered 4 a couple weeks ago.

Ah, turns out it's only certain batteries, not all. Sorry for the confusion. My last two orders were LG HG2 and that happens to be among the ones that come with a case.

Just as well that I didn't, I had already ordered cases from ProVari. I'd have ended up with extra.
That's awesome though that they give things with purchases, even if it's only certain items.:)
