Yes, you can buy 808 cartomizers for your Volt from lots of places. If you bought your Volt from BestVapour, that's especially good news since they're going out of business. The same model is sold as Bloog, Halo, Vapor King (Vapor4Life), DVP99 (Eastmall.net), etc. tobacco shops in Canada sell it as the SmokeNV, but that brand is not a good deal. As I mentioned earlier, in Canada I know of HappyVaper (Bloog) and CdnVapor.ca. If you go over to the Canada forum, there's a thread where you can ask for a list of all of the Canadian vendors.

You should be aware that Canada Customs may prevent e-juice and cartomizers from crossing the border. I've had good luck anyway, but it's something to keep in mind.

Yes, you can fit 30 to 35 drops in the carto. You just have to let it soak into the filler. If you shake the cartomizer like a thermometer, the juice will work its way in quicker.

    Nice to know!
Are you from Canada too? Where do you buy your e-juice? I bought mine at vaporium.ca. Is this a good place? Also is it normal that all the flavor taste pretty much the same or is it because the PG% is too low?
I did bought my Volt from Bestvapour. They had a super customer service and they ship very fast! Too bad they are closing.
If you have a good place to buy e-juice let me know and what is your favorite flavor! I heard cinnamon is pretty good!

Yep, I live in Canada, eh? :D

Well, if you're buying juice from the U.S, you might like the following:

    BackwoodsBrew.com, Alien Visions (AveJuice.com), TastyVapor.us, VermillionRiver.com, MsTsBakery.com, BlueMistVaping.com, etc.

Recommending juice in Canada is kind of tricky because no one wants Health Canada to stop a vendor based on information gleaned from ECF. :(

I hear vaporium is good, though. PG gives you more flavour and throat hit. VG gives you more vapour and less flavour.

To buy juice in Canada, I'd recommend you ask for a list (via PM) from the Canada Forum. Here's the thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/canada-forum/202405-canadian-juice-w-nic-supplier-list-via-pm-only.html

As for juices I like: RY4, Cubana Cigar, Dunhill tobacco, Pina Colada, Grape, etc. I've got to get around to trying Snickerdoodle and Boba's Bounty one of these days. :)

As far as cinnamon goes, it's a relatively strong flavour. It will take a long while to vape the flavour out if you find it too strong.

If you find yourself trying out a lot of flavours, you might be interested in investing in a 901 atomizer and a 510 drip tip. Putting a 901 atomizer on your kit allows you to drip 3 drops of a new flavour onto your e-cigarette without using up an entire cartomizer. You can clear a flavour quickly by dripping either unflavoured nic juice or PG (Propylene Glycol is available by asking for it at a Pharmacist's counter). Use your manual batteries for dripping, only. With automatic batteries, there is a hole that you don't want to risk getting juice in.

So, so far I've mentioned 808, 901 and 510. Just ask lots of questions if you get confused.

You always take the risk that Canada Customs will hold your juice if you buy from another country. I'll bet it's difficult for them to differentiate between nicotine liquid and something harmless in the package x-ray scanners but it's a risk, regardless.

When shopping in Canada, they only charge PST when you live in the same province as the company you're ordering from. You may end up paying GST, regardless. Some sites have a fixed mailing cost of about $10.

    Hello everybody!!

I return with some news! I didn't touch one cigarette for 6 days!!:)
I have my e-cigs since almost 2 weeks. The first week I had a couple of cigarette because I wasn't used to the e-cig so the vaping was bad. But since you gave me so much good advices about how to use it correctly, I completely quit the smoking since almost a week! It's the first time since 10 years!!:)))

I plan to quit forever, and with the ecig it's so much easier!
I love my Volt kit! The Only bad point is that it discharge very fast, but I have 3 batteries so I can interchange them. I also only bought the PCC and I want to buy the wall charger because sometimes it does not work well. Except that everything is okay, I can't wait to buy more e-juice/flavor with different amount of PG/VG to find one that I REALLY like. If you have time tell me your favorite juice!

I also find myself coughing for the last 2 days. Not sure if it because of the vaping because it stop today and I have any other symptom. I had like 2 times a lil headache also ( usually I never have that) so Im wondering if its caused by the ecig. I heard it can be symptoms from quitting the cigarette or it could be because my body need to adjust to the new change. Will see if it continues!

I'm also wondering if it is ok to vape around small children and babys?
Is it also ok to vape in the same room than old people who has lung problems (like bronchitis) or should I avoid it? Im still a lil concern with the safeness of this thing.

I want to thank you all again for your precious help. It is a very good forum

Congrats on being cig free for 6 days, Bambie! That's a huge accomplishment! :toast:

Now, I'm not a doctor (and not trying to diagnose/treat lol) but coughing and headaches are definitely two of the most common side effects from quitting smoking. Besides the nicotine, there are 4,000 other chemicals and toxins in cigarettes that we are addicted to. So even though you may still be getting nicotine with ecigs, you are not inhaling any tar (which makes the nicotine 'stick' to the lining of your lungs, so you start coughing up gross lung junk - it's your body's way of cleaning out your lungs.

Remember to drink lots of water when you're vaping, because it can be dehydrating. That might ease the headaches a bit, but headaches are also a side effect of quitting smoking.

E-juice - my first order was from Vaporium, and although their juices are okay, they are very lightely flavoured. They use the same base for all of them, so without a lot of flavouring they kind of all taste similar.

There are a couple of Canadian vendors that sell sample sizes (3 or 5 ml) for a good price. I found that just because I like the taste of chocolate, doesn't mean that I'm going to like a chocolate ejuice. Also, just because a juice got an awesome review, it doesn't mean that I'm going to like it. So, after spending waaaaaayyyyy too much $$ on buying big bottles of juice only to hate them, I have now learned my lesson and are buying sample bottles. Most of the vendors ship really quickly, so if you buy a sample and you like the juice, order a big bottle and it will be in your mailbox in a few days.

I'll pm you with a couple of places I've dealt with.

As for charging your volt, YES! Get a usb/wall charger and save the pcc for when you're out and about. Saves you from constantly having to charge the pcc. I would also recommend picking up a usb passthrough (an e-cig that plugs into a usb port) if you spend any time on the computer. It runs off the power of your computer, so you never have to worry about charging it, and it's a really good back up if your other batteries are dead. Here's an example of the Volt usb passthrough.

I've placed about 4 orders from Smokeless Image in the US (no nic, just hardware) and although it takes 10-12 days to get here, it always gets here. I just got another order on Tuesday.

The wall adapter that Smokeless Image sells now will also power the usb passthrough, so you can plug it into the wall and vape!

If you are placing an order from Smokeless Image, check out their diamond end caps. They make the LED super bright and sparkly!

As other people have said, you can also buy Bloog accessories for your Volt, from Canadian vendors.

    Cheers!

    BTW -

Thank you very much Lunabella! I also find that vaporium's e-juice taste all the same and are not strong. Ex: the tobacco and the strawberry taste the same! I wasn't sure if all the other juice from other brands were all the same, but you learned me that no! Thx for your pm I will buy from them next time and buy obly samples to try.
I think you are also from Canada: when you order from Someless image how much they charge you for the shipping and sales tax?

Bambie, there is a rather well-informed local vaping circle in Montreal that have been holding regular vape meets. It is a great opportunity to meet some like-minded people and see what other types of devices are available as well as maybe trying some different juices (in different strengths and mixes). The veteran vapers will also help you to trouble-shoot any problems you may be having with your current equipment. I know that they just had a meet about a week ago so probably won't be having another until some time in January. You could try posting Canadian Meets and Events forum to find out when the next one might be.

Hi Bambie! The shipping charges are dependant on the size/weight of the package, but I just checked my last big order from Smokeless Image, and it totalled $143 before shipping, and the shipping on top of that was $11.13 to Winnipeg. They don't charge any sales tax. I used the coupon code 10voltecf and it brought the total (including shipping) to $140. They shipped my order the next day and it got to Canada quickly but in total took about 12 days to get to me.

Again, I didn't order anything with nicotine in it, just hardware. My experience with receiving orders from the US has been good, but ordering anything e-cig-related from the US seems like a bit of a gamble these days.

Welcome aboard. A lot of Canadians today :)

I second the vote for the eGo-t. Not not a cigarette but it has a battery life you will like. The size and manual battery (have to press a button) you'll get used to in a day.

I know there are a few vendors in Canada that have good reputations. When you get your 5 posts and are able to post in the Canadian Forums you'll get a better answer.... I check out the Canada forums every so often because I'm on the other side of the Great Lakes.

Good luck on trying to quit analogs and DO NOT get discouraged if you don't quit right away. I was smoking and vaping for about a month or so before I gave up the smoking totally. Best thing to do is just focus on the good part. If you slip and have a cigarette don't dwell on it. Instead focus on the fact that you went a day or two without a cig. Next thing you know it will be a week without a cig :).

Also don't just focus on the tobacco flavored juices. Experiment a bit. If you like peaches try a peach flavored juice. And don't write off a flavor if you get it from one vendor and don't like it. Different vendors have different mixes, and everyone has slightly different tastes. So Fred's peach juice might suck but Jane's peach juice might blow your socks off..... obviously if you don't like a flavor don't try it. If you don't like oranges you'll most likely not like a juice that is orange flavored.

Thanx! It's good they doesn't charge any sales tax! It is 30% of the total when I order anything from the U.S. (I'm from Quebec) Can't wait to buy more accessories! As for the juice with nicotine I knew Canadian custom can stop it so I will try your canadian vendor! Thanks so much for yoyr time!

I just found out there is another newer vendor just outside of Montreal -- vaporus.com. I think he allows for local pickup as well.
