If I try the RM2, should I take out the white o-ring and put the black one in?

Ahh - the black art of coils. Here's the lowdown: i use a magnifying headset. When tightening the screws don't do it massively tight - i look at the wire poking out of the other side of the post; when you tighten the screw that will rise a little (where have you heard that before?) and that is all you need.
If you use thin, high gauge wire, by which i mean 30g and up you run a real risk of breaking the wire if you are not careful. About now is really when you need a meter.

Great advice Super T.....the coils are 28ga but I used to break them all the time trying to tighten the screws too much
Ok..so I should wait? I changed the battery to be safe. I can just stick with this atty until I it arrives.I do have the omni thing, should I check and make sure they are still at the same resistance that RattlerX built them? I found small screwdrivers in hubby's stuff..
It you have a mandrel or screw driver that will fit inside the coil use it. It will help you position the coil correctly and keep the wire tight.
I have the gizmo thingies...I think they said the second largest one is the one? I can check. Oh yeah, and tiny screwdrivers I found. I am sure there is something here.
The omni thing will be fine. Just be sure to measure your coils before you fire them. If it says 1 or 0, then something is not right.

The RM2 is pretty safe to build on because of the ceramic deck. You just have to be sure you are out towards the edge but not over the edge where it can touch the top cap.
You have a some spare coils give it a go. you can fire it with the cap off and post pic and we can look and see if it is ok before putting the cap on.

If you build it on the ohm checker you will be ok.
