You ask about rba's for the Woodville here are my favorites but I have not tried the new RM3.

1. Chalice
2. VA Divo
3. VA Cyclone
4. RM2
5. Rob's iGo-s

The Cyclone and RM2 are very close and put them tied for 3rd. number 1 is expensive and hard to get, number 2 is also hard to get.

Best bang for the buck RM2.

Thanks, I will have to watch videos to figure out the tester I guess.

That tester will be fine to check your resistance (ohms) on, but I can't see how you can test the battery. Since you got it from RTD, I'd try to exchange it for a true multimeter like THIS one from RTD. That will allow you to do any troubleshooting that's ever needed, and may be more accurate than the one you got, both for ohm and volts.

To use the tester is easy. Screw your atomizer onto the fitting (it will only fit on one of the two fittings) and move the switch from "off" to "Ω". The display will then read the ohms of your coil.

Rob has encouraged people to use a multimeter because it saves you removing the atty from the mod every time you build a coil, which saves wear and tear on the Reo's 510 connection, plus its simply quicker this way. Also you can use the multimeter to check your batteries to measure state of charge, and to check your charger is not overcharging your batteries, and to help find a problem on the Reo in the rare case that you have one.

There are two main types of digital multimeters in the lower price bracket (I'll call them dmm's from now on). There are auto-ranging dmm's and dmm's without autoranging. For vaping purposes, auto-ranging is not required, and usually the auto-ranging ones cost more. Paying more money for a better or more accurate dmm is not really a big help, except that the dmm may last longer if built better, which isn't likely until you get above $50 or $80 or more, because usually they just build more features into it as the price goes higher, which vapers don't really need. A well looked after sub $12 dmm could easily last quite a few years, and if it breaks, you can get another.

So if you do get a dmm, I recommend a very cheap one, but make sure the test leads plug into the front of the dmm rather than just exit from the side of the case (like on some really cheap ones) because this makes a stress point on the test lead wires and they can break over time.

How does the meter work? You touch the leads on the battery or?
Anyone use one of these? Do you like it?

Cool Clark. Thank you for stopping in and the encouragement.:)
. I cannot wait to start enjoying this without all the tank fussing. And ..I admit ,I like the vapor and more taste would be the cherry on top.:)

I should add a special thanks to RattlerX, who gave me the opportunity to have a really nice woodvil, has been just wonderful, showed me where I could get the cyclone, and numerous helpful hints and support. And extra goodies in my package.:2cool:

I know I won't be taking the woodvil out and about. So my vv3 and mvp will still be my car vaping mods. And I will always love my provari mini dragon, because it is just that cool & gives a great vape with aspire tanks.
I bought a VTR off the classies. Might have been a mistake. It arrived yesterday and it feels like it weighs a full pound or more haha.:p

Yeah they all say that, the new Woodvil owners.

After a while you realize they are pretty tough...depends on your needs and desires I guess, and some Woodvils may not be as resistant as others, depending on the wood type :) I have cocobolo and lacewood and its tough as nails, but others, I don't know.

I know where this is heading, I can see you in a few months time, a Reo mini for the car (just open the window a bit for when you exhale), a Reo Grand and a Woodvil for home, another Mini or Grand for backup, and any of the above for work/shopping/out and about :2cool: If you have other gear that you like, and its not sitting around collecting dust, then its well worth keeping IMO :)
