Personal preference, Mutation X v3 so I can fine tune flavor output. Different flavors are accented by the amount of airflow. Take Bavarian Cream and Blueberry mix. Wide open I taste Bavarian, closed to minimum airflow, I get Blue Berry. Anywhere in between I can have more of one or the other. Other than that, it would depend on what you want to build on. Mutation is 4 post with deep wells and easy to build on. I can't tell you anything else as that is the only RDA I actually own besides the Patriot clone. Not fond of that one though. Hope this helps.

I use my Mutation X2 occasionally, but it has too much airflow for me and i never really like any builds I did on it. Always seemed to be too close to the edge and wouldnt wick well from one side.
Igo-w was good after opening the airholes a bit.
I just got a velocity clone I am going to try on this weekend, heard good things about it.

I started on a magma clone, which while it was good at the time, is quite outdated now. I would like to hop on the oldschool bandwagon and recommend it, there are better options out there now.

Sapor, derringer, doge, freakshow, mutation X4, Troll, all on my "to buy" list. But my money has been going to RTA's instead. I prefer them since im out an about most of the time and cant drip.

In other words, there is no correct answer. All flavor and vaping satisfaction is subjective. There are RDA's that appeal to a wide range of people, but that may have a lot to do with the power of suggestion. Just grab one that has a good following, try it out, and determine what you do and don't like about it. Then you can move from there knowing your own preferences.

This is what rings true in every thread I have read in the last 5yrs when someone asks for suggestions... The biggest problem with this is all the variables that are left out and some make a world of difference in each selection...

It would help if the OP listed a little more info other than they want flavor and it would be nice to get some clouds also!!!
List some of the RDA's you have used to date.
Likes and dislikes of said RDA's.
What device are you currently using?
What type of wire are you using?
What diameter or type of coils do you vape normally?

These are all important factors and should be thrown into the mix, otherwise you will continue to purchase gear and get frustrated when things fail as they have for so many in the past... There are 6 threads in this sub-forum alone in just the first 2 pages that ask the same question and the responses are all pretty much the same in each thread...

If you are using an Atomic RDA, I am certainly not going to suggest you get a K24 or a MutX V3, because the vape is going to be too airy, leaky, and won't have half the flavor you are looking for... Make sense to anyone? Give us some background when asking for suggestions!!!

I'm not looking for a correct answer! Just looking for suggestions for what works for others so I can check them out and see if it may work for me! There are lots of rda's that I've never heard of and they may be the one for me!

In that case Stumpy...it's the one I will always recommend.

Ok ok! Sorry for such an informative post! I've used the twisted messes, mutilator, forge, derringer, mutation x v4 and some others that I can't remember. I prefer a 28 gauge tidal coil over any. I use a sigelei 150 watt tc but don't use tc. I'm getting a wismec rx 200. I like my coils to be 2.4mm to 3.0mm in diameter. Thanks
