I'm posting here because I still assume that the T-Rex and MaxX are the same actual device.
We've had our MaxX's for a few weeks now, maybe a month. And I'll say it straight-up, they're CRAP.
all three of them have become quite finicky with respect to charging. It doesn't matter if they are on a standard "mains charger" or a USB "fast charger. Sometimes in lieu of actually charging they'll just sit there and blink... forever. You can take them off, sequence the power button, wait a little while, and pray to the micro-controller Gods.. and ultimately they'll become satisfied with your ovations and actually begin to charge. At that point I think we are supposed to be thankful and appreciative of their sacrifice.
Sorry.. these are an "AVOID" proposition.
(Loving the HOUSE quotes)
Not to run off on too much of a tangent.. but I didn't get all caught up in the "House" thing in the beginning. Some network was having a House marathon one night, and with nothing better to do, I watched an episode or two. I was hooked.
Went out and got all of the seasons on DVD, and every night the wife unit and I would sit down and make our way through an episode or two, until we got "current". Got to the "end" (current) and I almost wanted to go back and do it all again.
Simply well done in so many ways.
The T-Rex, Hs-710, Maxx, Riva & etc. are all basically the same.
... but deciphering between the chaff and the wheat will maintain the piggy bank on cruise control.I had purchased 2 t-rex kits, 1 for a friend 2 months ago, & neither kit has had ANY problems, there was only 1 problem when charging you have to push the button in sometimes if it won't charge, other than that we both have found that the t-rex has been an excellent mod. The T-Rex, Hs-710, Maxx, Riva & etc. are all basically the same. But having our own opinions, is what makes the world go round.
I got one for my niece and myself and so far I am very happy with the T-REX and hope I don't run into the same troubles.Going on 2 weeks now with not a hitch knock on wood.I had purchased 2 t-rex kits, 1 for a friend 2 months ago, & neither kit has had ANY problems, there was only 1 problem when charging you have to push the button in sometimes if it won't charge, other than that we both have found that the t-rex has been an excellent mod. I live on a small Island (2nd smallest in the Hawaiian chain) and there are limited resources to buy a T-Rex locally - I am just happy that I have someone here for support. Sorry I'm new to this forum thing and didn't know it would sound suspicious.
My whole point is that I started with the 510 (Never had problems, but I was ALWAYS changing batteries or attys to get a strong vap) and just love the T-Trex Vapor/Taste Quailty without having to carry an arsonel of parts to get it. The a small but appreciated amount of help from my sales person makes it easy to over look the issue w/ the glue breaking.
you paid $225 for a rebel kit, which includes just one battery?? Sorry, but that's nuts![]()
